Updated Chronological Timeline of the Great Tribulation -- after the New Light from July Watchtower

the july 15, 2015 study watchtower article entitled "your deliverance is getting near", along with the jw broadcasting video entitled "gerrit losch: fortified by "the prophetic word," and chapter 21 of the god's kingdom rules!

book presented a large amount of new light or clarified understanding of the events of the great tribulation.. here i am presenting it in chronological order -- this is the governing body's updated chronological order of events for the time right before the great tribulation through armageddon:.

the final sealing of the anointed occurs just prior to the outbreak of the tribulation.

Wow! Here is a blast from the past. Growing up in the early 1980's, this was something that I had heard frequently, but then it kind of disappeared. That being, that at some point the regular preaching message would cease, and a message of "Judgment" would commence, and that it would be "too late" for people to come into the Truth at that point, because the symbolic Ark was closed, and their judgment was imminent. Kind of an old, "We told you so!" - in your face, kind of message. Loving, aye? Nice to see I wasn't crazy remembering this. BUT, there is now a spin to this! A clarification, "New Light!!!!" Now, people WILL have a chance to repent and become a sheep!!! This really begs the question: Why even bother to preach now at all and waste your time, when at some point in the future people can just repent and convert and all is forgiven??????? Live your life how you see fit, then when you hear the final JW warning, repent, convert over, and be saved??? Seems like everything before that final message is a big huge hassle and waste of time, especially with actual signs in the heavens signaling the End about to happen?

around memorial time this year, i stated to my nephew on facebook that my sister was brainwashed.

stupid me putting that on a public forum!

he was offended because she continues to invite him to the memorial even though he has ptsd from his jw experiences growing up.

You have a right to your thoughts, feelings, and opinions. Apologize for NOTHING. They are the ones in a highly-controlling CULT, not you, hence you are not under their control. That's what's REALLY bothering your sister, that you don't recognize her imaginary perceived piousness out over her.

i had a sudden realization the other day, one that took me many years to make but that should have been fairly obvious in hindsight.

let me explain.. my parents are immigrants.

they moved to the u.s. when i was a toddler.

Ha! Little did she know, those pious "little angels" were actually the devil in disguise, and often times much worse than any worldly kids in the neighbourhood or school. That was my experience growing up in the two-faced double-life JW life. My parents would ask me as a teen why I preferred friends at school and didn't hang with any kids at the Kingdom Hall. I'd flat out tell them that the kids at the hall were totally fake backstabbing poseurs that no one else could stand, and my school friends were the honest and good ones. My parents could never wrap their heads around that. The kids at the hall were total manipulative narcissists, who usually got away with murder since Daddy was an Elder, or mommy was a high-ranking Pioneer Bitch. Nope, little Johnny and Susie were as sweet as pie at the Kingdom Hall, and total heathens outside of it.

New video telling the R&F to be generous

bro sanderson has a 7 minute video up on their streaming website called "be willing to open your hand".. in it he tells us not to be "tight fisted" or "stingy" and later "regardless of how much we have or how little we have, we'll find something within our power to be able to do".

we have the responsibility to imitate jehovah's generosity.. there's a bit about giving to one another when we see the need, which is nice, then he drops in how 20 years ago the canada branch committee asked the bethel family for donations to the disaster relief fund, and promptly raised over $10,000.

i think that's pretty good going for those under a vow of poverty.. "the generous person will prosper" he says, then illustrates this using a made up story.

I've been saying it for a long time now: Money only flows one way in the WT Organization; from the rank and file's wallets to the WT's bank accounts. When the congregation needs something or YOU as an individual needs something, it's "wait on Jehovah. Jehovah provides. Keep your eye simple." When the Org needs something, it's "We need YOUR money. Don't be stingy, be generous, be like Jehovah, etc, etc."

The money grab is really taking on a life of it's own and becoming more and more obvious as they lay on the guilt trips.

Side ads are hijacking this site!

for about a week now, i've noticed that whatever ads you are allowing on this site are basically "hijacking" any attempt to read threads.

well, the side "ad" thing plays video advertisements, but that's not the problem.

For about a week now, I've noticed that whatever ads you are allowing on this site are basically "hijacking" any attempt to read threads. How? Well, the side "ad" thing plays video advertisements, but that's not the problem. When they start, they automatically force the thread I attempt to read up to the top, and keep it there. I cannot scroll or do anything else. I am using FireFox by the way. This is making using or reading anything on this forum unbearable. Like I said, it is totally hijacking my attempt at reading or posting on threads. And it doesn't stop with just (1). It keeps going and going. I have an ad "pop-up" blocker turned on, but it does no good. I can't pause the video ads either. What can you do about this? I've never experienced anything like this on a website. I can't be the only one experiencing this as well. HELP!!!

Same sh*t, different day! These statements could have easily come from any WT or Awake! from the 1980's Bound Volumes. Any of them! (especially 1984 though)

GB 2.0 continues their leadership tactics the same way GB 1.0 did with,

Or, until you send in all of your money!! They NEED money! God is all powerful, all knowing, and all seeing....but by gosh just can't handle money! And he (using the FDS/GB) always seem to need MORE.....more of YOUR money! Write those checks, put them in the "slot in the box" as Lett so disgusting said last month, donate via iPad example, and don't forget to give them every last dime when you are filling out your Will's. Your ex-JW apostate worldly children won't need anything of yours, their pitiful existence will come to an end when the loving Israelite God of War sends His loving Son back to earth on a white horse with a flaming sword to destroy them at the great battle of Armageddon, which will be any day now.....it's immenint (since 1799), sooooon!

When will this vicious cycle of idiocy end I wonder? As usual, this WT article comes on the heels of a "historic" May JW broadcast where GB Member "Get-Bent" Lett begs the rank and file for more money to build even more Temples to JWdumb. The 90-minute money-grab is now being followed up by an official WT guilt-trip, complete with an exclusive article on the Almighty Geoffery Jackson life-story. Praise Jah!

'Anointeds' Do you know any and if so what are they like ?

The Annointed in my Hall growing up was a real winner. Spoke with odd, deliberate mannerisms, & was apparently called up after his Uncle became an Apostate. He married a woman from NYC, had 5 kids. He perpetually worked crap jobs, and being that he was an Elder he had zero time for his family. His 3 daughters all left in their teens. His oldest child, a son, became a pedophile who was caught distributing hardcore child porn on the internet and is now serving 25 years in a state pen. This was after he beat a 2-yr old child nearly to death when he was 20 in 1995.

The wife left the anointed ElDuh, and he remarried some busy-body pioneer witch at his new congregation. Truly, a Prince among men and a complete idiot who ruined his entire family by slaving away for the cult 24/7/365. How happifying!
