this would explain a lot about the answers i give and why they don't directly reflect my personal convictions (like a normal person--and i do mean that literally, kinda).
i cannot put everything here, but i can start bit by bit.. when i was 17 years old, my mother was on her third marriage and kinda starting her fourth (as she was dating this surfer dude-like guy who wasn't even 5 years older than me).

it would sound like they are hinting at a change in thinking.. in my opinion, any such change would be yet another slap in the face to faithful pimis along with those other recent changes.. there are so many heartfelt responses on that thread and a lot of justified anger.. don’t know what to say except that i’m so glad i never listened to the religion all those years ago.

Yeah, I caught that Reddit thread yesterday. And I tell ya, this is some SHOCK AND AWE.
Never thought I'd live to see the day that THIS "adjustment" would shine thru.
Why?
I was told all throughout the 80's growing up that I'd never even make it to my high school graduation, much less have to worry about a career or retiring. The "End" was near! I graduated high school in 1997, and my son graduated high school 25 years after me. The only difference? He's never set foot in a Kingdumb Hell!
Having any sort of retirement, or hell, even extra life insurance, was seen as "not having faith in how close to the time of the End" we were in, so you were "Spiritually Weak." Hell, it was even considered "gambling"! So of course, my gullible parents never saved a dime, lived paycheque to paycheque, and got into mountains of debt, and a retirement account? Fuggetaboutit! My poor late mother only started that after my father died, and she had her "Awake!ening" from the cult. She managed to save a good bit before succumbing to an illness. FYI, WatchTower didn't get one red cent from her! LOL!!!
But yeah, all this bullshit......all the guilt trips.......for WatchTower HQ to turn around as the hypocrites they are and be found out to have been investing, hedging their bets, etc for decades.....and now to have these 3 huge Irish Investment portfolios? FUCK YOU ASSHOLES!!!!
The slaps to the faces of the faithful and ones old enough to remember how things USED to be and promised, is an incredible sight to behold from this point in time. Speaking of which, it is soon to be the Year of our Lord 2025. Where the hell is The Great Tribulation? We are now a full 50 years past 1975. Just jaw-dropping false prophecy, hypocrisy, greed, and televangelism now.
Like, could any of you ever believe we'd be "witnessing" this type of shit in the year 2025? Where's my pet tiger and panda in front of my A-frame Chalet next to the lake? ((( crickets chirping ))) The only people with a nice view by a lake are the "Popes of New York" up in Warwick. Greedy-ass rich slimy mutherfuggers like Stephen Lett and the new guy Joele (real estate mongols) are living like Kings, their retirement is all set, off the backs of the members.....errrrr......."adherents"......errrr........SLAVE LABOUR that donated their whole lives. I hope they all choke on a big ol' bag of dicks!

Convention attendance
by joe134cd injust heard from a pimi cousin who recently attended a convention, and remarked about the low attendance.
peak was about 500. i remember that circuit, in years past, had attendances of 1000+.
it's been over a decade now since i last attended a jw convention.

Truly "happifying" events as we draw ever closer to "The End".......the end of the WatchTower cult, that is!
Oh sure....you'll have some totally brain-dead zombies lingering on for another 100 years (think Bible Students, who are still out here in Pennsylvania, barely) but the demise of this cult is for REAL!
Just like Scientology, the jig is up! Only the born-ins and truly mentally deficient who lack any sort of critical thinking skills or the ability to use a search engine would willfully join any of these cults. (think low IQ on the verge of mentally retarded)
The moving and sorting of the circuits with still a lot of empty seats at Conventions is a real tell-tale sign that the cult's leadership is merely rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. The only thing that will really keep this cult afloat isn't membership donations, but instead their massive real estate portfolio and now extensive investment funds. Those are the gifts that will keep on giving if managed properly. Fugg the membership, they're on their own! (as usual, as WT HQ doesn't have a clue about real charity or giving one red cent back to the pauper Congregations)
I'm just so happy to be free (I'm now out longer than I was in!) as well as seeing others leaving in droves, in particular the youth who are sick of this boring, lame-ass bullshit! (especially when compared with their friends and school mates more modern, charitable churches)
Truly, the "sighing and moaning" and "gnashing of teeth" must be a sight to behold up at the lake side cult compound, as the "waters of life" (aka: da money from the suckers) dries up.
Ya know.....as time goes on.....I really wonder if Anthony Moron da Turd didn't see the handwriting on the wall, and decide to get the hell outta Dodge while the gettin' was good, with a fist full of dollars, a golden parachute, and a glass of Scotch? He's totally missing out on the legal tidal wave that WT HQ is experiencing right now, and he's got to be grinning from ear to ear while reclining in his Lay-Z-Boy. He was brash, yes, but stupid? i just wanted to say thank you to all of you that have posted on here over the years, it really helped me to see the truth about the organization.
i lurked here for many years under an anonymous login and then finally plucked up the courage to write my disassociation letter.. adam.

I actually do believe that is the ex-wife's photo. Her Insta has similar photos as she's into photography, and the facial bone structure seems to match her.
If so, this only reinforces my theory that The Great Neck-Bearded One is in fact some sort of closeted homosexual. I mean seriously, she's really decent. Definitely could've done better than that loser Evans, so truth is he "married up."

I have one helluva hard time believing membership is ANYWHERE NEAR 9 million. No fuggin' way! Probably more around 3 million. Just like Scientology (who WT HQ has studied and modeled their business after) they are masters of deception and faking numbers.
All of the empty Kingdom Halls being sold off, photos from Assemblies and Conventions over the past 4 years tell and entirely different story. Some Circuit Assemblies are 1/2, 1/3, or even a 1/4 what they used to be. And this reporting is coming from all over. We know Japan, Norway, The Netherlands, New Zealand, and other countries are waking up and walking. We're even seeing more coming out of South America over on the ex-JW Reddit sub.
And most telling of all? Why, just look at the topics of talks at the KH's or Conventions. Oh, and WT articles (whenever they can be bothered to put anything new out). You've got WT HQ loosening up on hard-core old-timey standards such as dress and grooming, and now even allowing greeting of the DF'd.....errrr....."Removed", with also quick re-instatement times. Every talk outline, WT magazine, etc hammers, absolutely HAMMERS on not viewing any outside (apostate) sources, no outside association, no higher education, and last by certainly not least, TOTAL OBEDIENCE and obeisance to the Governing Body. Jesus is a brief token footnote.
So no, I don't buy their made-up statistics one damn bit. Their numbers are circling the bowl. Hence the Irish investment portfolios. The Gluttonous Bozos and their support staff up on the woodland lake commune will be living off the interest for the rest of their lives. Their happy to clink glasses and proclaim, "Cheers!"
