I think you maybe right on that, but did have have to really sit down, is there really any distinction between sitting and standing? Also on this same subject the JW use a scripture somewhere were jesus stands up as an idea that he then acts to bring about his actual coming or Armageddon, not sure if this has any validity to or if there just over thinking the writing?

Villagegirl has it right, all who believe in Christ as the messiah and get baptized receive holy spirit or are anointed period. The 144k may be the first-fruits (chosen by Yehovah after their deaths) but otherwise there is no distinction (Romans chapter 3). Rutherford started a distinction and a two class idea in his writing of the Vindication book 3, thought the great crowd were unworthy so he made them less then himself. called them Jonadabs did not allow them to get baptized and could not even come to the memorial celebration.

I have been researching this topic to and wonder if he Jesus did not become king even earlier? There are scriptures even before he dies were he tells his followers that he has been given power and authority and when talking to pilate he says his kingdom is not of this world.He stating here that he already has a kingdom. There some evidence that maybe he was exalted to king when he enters Jerusalem when riding on the ass but still not sure???

Who is the "True God of the Bible" ?

was he the god of abraham and melchizedech ?.
the god of the ordinary jew before the babylonian exile ?.

What does Romans 10:9,10 mean to a JW?

in my ten years as a jw, there was absolutely no emphases to the importance of this scripture.

i have too been doing a lot of study concerning this subject and there a lot of scriptures that say it Jesus name that we get saved and that Jesus has all power and authority. Its like the Emporer of a great nation a long way off sends his price or a minor king to our nation and gives him the seal that shows he has all power and authority to speak for the emporer but instead of talking to him we insisted on sending people all the way over to were the Emporer lives. Thats what the JW leaders are doing, they are not giving full credit and understanding to what Jehovah has done with Jesus. They may be doing this out of their desire to distence themselves from any trinity teaching but they are totally disrespecting Jesus.
and on another note all people that believe christ is the messiah are adopted sons of god and are anointed with holy spirit upon baptism. So do not let the GB tell you that you are not anointed and only they are!!!!!!!

Establishing the Premises Regarding "Jehovah's Channel"
by Ding intypically, when the topic of new light arises in discussions with a jw, it come about this way:.
1. wt critic cites discarded doctrines or false prophecies to the jw in order to undermine his faith in the gb.. 2. jw counters by citing proverbs 4:18, saying that changes are fine because the light gets brighter and brighter.. 3. wt critic gets frustrated because any sort of nonsense can be overlooked via that type of thought-stopping "logic.".
perhaps a better approach is to start by asking the jw to explain how the "jehovah's channel of communication" process works.

Lets not forget that Ellen White also said when Jesus did not come 'he did invisibly' also when Bourbor guys including Russel didnt see Jesus either in 1874 they did pretty much the same except one of them found a bible that said 'Presence' at matt. 24:3-4 instead of 'coming' so they just used that and the rest is history.

my friend has been studing with the jw's on and off for about 11-12 years i think.
she has told me everytime i see her that she can't wait for jehovah to end this evil world...she can't wait for the new system...the end is so close....etc.. i sent her a message back telling her that i left the jw's and asked her if she had heard that.
