I believe Prologos has it right. This understanding mirrors the exodus from Egypt, and when i was doing my research about the new covenant and mediator i found the new covenant mirrors the original one and how any one back then Alien resident included could be a part of the old covenant by getting circumcised and then just following the laws. Prologos understanding again mirrors who was the ones who left Egypt, who went with and who stayed.

i should know the answer to this but.... so the great crowd class were identified in 1935, but does the wt suggest when it's members first appeared on earth?
all first century christians were of the annointed (i think that's right), so when do they think the first of the great crowd rolled up?.

I just informed the parents about me and the TTATT... heart wrenching
by sosoconfused inwell first i want to thank everyone here for the good points etc... i have received over the last few months.
you guys have really been helpful!.
so the other day my mother wrote me a 3 page letter telling me how she was so scared for me because she could tell my love for the truth was gone etc.. so i decided i wanted to totally rip the band-aid off and get this matter over and done with.

144,000 as Kings and Priests Really? or not?

in revelation chapter 5 and 20 it mentions ones being kings and judges, but if you notice in chapter 20 verse 4-5 it talks about martyrs coming to life judging and reigning with jesus, not the 144k specifically.
in verse 5-6 talks about the first resurrection and that all that share in this first resurrection will be priests of god and of jesus and they will reign for a thousand years.. so notice in revelation chapters 7 and 19 a great crowd is mentioned being alive standing before the throne standing at the same time as the 144k are mentioned.

Prologos, thanks for the incite, question is there any scriptural evidence that the 144k are to be kings? And since chapter 7 talks about them being sealed on earth so to protect them, does this mean that the 144k are ones that are actually alive during the great tribulation?

So since this great crowd is present then doesn't verse 6 of chapter 20 apply to them as well. 'Blesses and holy is the one who shares in the first Resurrection! The second death has no power over them , but they will be Priests of God and of the Messiah, and they will reign with him for a 1000 years.
When Israel was delivered out of Egypt the nation was called a kingdom of Priests and a Holy nation.
So all who are resurrected in the first Resurrection and those who make it through the great tribulation will be a nation of Priests and will reign with Jesus not just the symbolic numbered 144k.

Daniel 2:33,34,44,45 scripturally proves the Kingdom was not established in 1914!
by yadda yadda 2 inat daniel 2:33-35, the "stone" not cut by hands strikes the image on the feet of iron and of molded clay and crushes them.
notice that in daniel 2:44,45, the setting up of the kingdom is synonymous with the stone crushing the image.
verse 44 talks about the kingdom crushing when it is set up, and verse 45 talks about the feet being crushed by the stone.

I have a friend that goes to a church to worship, they believe in Hell, Trinity, immorality of the soul etc, but they do not teach them. Just tradition i guess. Anyway my friend does not believe in any of those and has told a lot of people there this including the leaders. They have no problem with this. Also i went with him to a study group and there they discussed a topic and every one there could talk and say what they believed etc. They all had bibles with them and new how to find scriptures. Isn't that what Paul said when he told us to gather together and to incite ones to fine works.

When one reads the bible about all that will not inherit the kingdom gambler's are not mentioned. We witnesses are really the most judgemental of all professed Christian's aren't we. Its really to bad that your sister did not mention how she fallows Christs and he is much more loving then you make God out to be. And since Jesus said he is just like his father then that means you must have something wrong in your religion.

Only problem is that the 144K are on earth when they/we are sealed so they don't get destroyed by the locusts and second problem is in Thess Paul writes that we all go together not some in 1918 then others later. Oops again NOT TRUTH!
