  High School Baseball, Babies, and Reflections

  yesterday was a beautiful day,,,,a nice breeze , just the right temperature, and the sun was shining so beautifully.

  it was the perfect day to watch my 17 yr old son play baseball, a double header at that.

  i sat quietly in the bleachers enjoying the day and watching the kids play ball, and also watching the people who were sitting down from me.

  the "annointed" witnesses

  i just realized that the annointed won't die off.

  i mean, the original annointed will die off within the next 10 years or so, but then there are the younger people that think they are annointed, but don't fall under the rules and guidelines of an annointed person (per jw).

  i personally don't believe in the annointed, but something struck my fancy at the memorial.

  Piercings Anyone?

  out of curiosity, is anyone on this forum 'into' body piercings?

  for years i'd wanted my eyebrow pierced, but i never got it done because of course it wouldn't be acceptable at the kingdom hall, and my mom certainly wouldn't be approving.

  finally, my second year in college, around last halloween, i got my eyebrow done, and i love it.

  Honestly - isn't it annoying having these things in your body? Doesn't stuff get hooked on the nipple, tongue or face piercing?

  when i was in the borg, the understanding was that apostates and former annointed, who had fallen away, and turned against the borg were the 'evil slave class'.

  i understand there are about 27,000 abuse victims, and about 6,000 lawsuits standing against the borg.

  so first you get molested, and now you are 'evil' ?

  i would like to know more about the abba father thing in which those of the anointed "know" for certain without a shadow of a doubt they are chosen as jesus brothers..

  So do you think God called you, while a witness, to be born again? Essentially unrelated to being one of the 144,000 as taught in the WT?

  (Unfortunatly my experience with the WT has left me without any spiritual emotion at all, but I'm glad some can come out and still feel connected to God in some way.)

  Removed from the account, $$$!Refusing "Simony".

  it's been two years since we have attended any meetings including the memorial.now we found out that we have been taken off the bank account of a witness that we were taking care of, because of not attending meetings and not going out in the field service,because we are now inactive.. a lot of money was involved.we were not going to compromise to keep us on the account.in order to remain in good standing with this person we would be required to attend all the meetings, go out in the field service and take this person to places such as the health centers and doctors.because we stopped doing this, we are no longer going to be the beneficiaries of any financial gain,and or property $$$.including burial plots.. so much for all the years of help we have already devoted to this person.and all the hard work and self sacrifice we have given.this person knows the meaning of "simony" ( the buying or selling of spiritual things for gain ) and yet is using simony against us.we will not allow ourselves to be held captive in the society, which we have broken away from, for no amount of money or property by the use of simony that this person is trying to impose upon us.. blueblades.

  So what made you claim to be of the Anointed? As Blues said to us "other sheep" the whole thing is such a mystery. Did you have a specific experience to make you feel changed from an "other sheep" to one of the anointed?

  If you could / would just describe in detail the process of knowing you were being chosen by Jehovah as a Son.

  bad.bad.bad.

  anyone else feel down right bad and evil for leaving the org dispite what their heart and conscience and better judgement tells them?

  i've been inactive for about....oh....since october anyway and have gradually been letting friends and family know about it.

  after every conversation i feel really guilty and selfish and i have to sit down and reassure myself that i'm doing the best thing for me.

  You bet sister. I've been inactive for a year and the first few months were very tough. All I can say is read their material now after you have been out a while, it feels so "loaded" with phrases and obvious mind control techniques and non-humility that it will help you know that it's not healthy.

  this case is not reported to the police, and as far as i know the local congregation in a small town in telemark, norway - is trying to find out what to do with it.. .

  this time it's not an elder abusing children.

  How were you disfellowshiped????

  i'm pretty new to this forum.

  i thought it was pretty intresting so i thought i would share my experiences.

  when i was 17 i was disfellowshiped and as i sat there looking at all of the elders i was remembering all of the things that their children had done.

  It would take me almost 14 years, a divorce, gaining custody of my children and marrying a truly good woman to realize completely that freedom, but here I am now and I have never been happier in all my life.

  I'm happy for you brother and I'm sorry about your mom and I hope you did quit smoking for your health.
