  Preaching Doom and Gloom in October?

  my ex husband (who is dfd but not a professsed apostate) told me yesterday that in october there is going to be a big push for preaching doom in service.. like the last chance to get people in before the end.. .

  has anyone else heard this?.

  i assume either his brother who is a dub or his mother have passed this on to him, in order to scare him to come back quick before everyone dies.. .

  e-watchman has finally gone public with letter writing to the governing body and posting a new message on his site that shows he wants the gb to say they are sorry and clean up their act.

  Personally I love e-watchman. It was a place that my wife found (after witnessing my grief over issues of faith vs facts) and wasn't turned off by it. She introduced it to me. I posted questions to him and got answers and it opened doors for me mentally.

  I think his writing is so well done and clear. I can't imagine the time it takes to do this.

  well my mother and i have been talking more.

  she even calls me instead of the other way around.. yesterday we talked about my finances and school.

  my loans and awards looked like they were not going to cover my tuition.

  The great thing is, is when I drive it to her mechanics, she will pick me up and I will probably get to spend the day with her!!! I cant wait!

  been thinking about what blondie said about the use of jehovah in 1 thessalonians:4 and how they try to pass the word lord of as both jesus and jehovah ........so i looked some stuff up.... i cant think why i was so convinced that the disciples used gods name.

  im willing to be convinced though.

  example of jehovah being added and lord meaning both jesus and jehovah

  Need a recommendation for a good book re: Proving the bible wrong

  i am trying to find a good book which would explain why the bible cannot be inspired by god.. (for example, a book that would dissert the bible and illustrate its contradictions, etc.

  i know there are lots of those out there, but which one did you enjoy reading?.
