if not, perhaps we can brainstorm how to go about this, now that the pdf for the revised nwt is out.

Great job so far. Wouldn't they before long change the web version to the new bible? If too many problems perhaps you could just wait until then.

newsmaxs magazine just published an article that the watchtower is the most read magazine out there it evens surpasses time.. i have never heard of newmaxs but i just was emailed this and thought you might find it interesting.

i am sorry i do not know how to give the link so i am cutting and pasting.

i have an oppertuinity to try ttatt on an elders wife who is a pioneer who showed up today.

she is willing to meet me one on one to discuss how pedofiles are protected, the blood issue, the flip flpos, how they teach theocratical warfare and hate.

i agreed to only use watchtower and awake publications.

It kind of sounds like a trap - so be careful if you have family to lose or whatever.

Having said that - I'd focus on just one issue, perhaps child abuse or blood.

If you put the pdf into Indesign you can create a blank section to cover the middle column (and perhaps the top page numbers) on every page (put it on the master page). Then export it again as a pdf - then convert the image to text.

the annual general meeting was one of those things.

of course i get that wild speculations would come out.

I think there are other changes that are very notable. For example the removal of the brackets around "other" in... "Jesus created all [other] things" - I feel is a pretty blatant adding to the scriptures, and is something I'll be bringing up with JW's next time I talk to them.

Also I think many future doctrinal changes will stem from rewording parts of this bible - so I can totally understand why people are examining it.

I think this is a different time than the Franz era. I very much doubt there will ever be another like him on the GB. And they probably are more cautious after him.

The interesting thing will be the fresh meat once these GB's start dying off. But out of the current lot? They'll be cracking this whip till the day they die.
