Class Action Lawsuit in Wrongfull Death against the Governing Body
by frankiespeakin ini'm not very knowledgable about legal things but would there be any profitablity in a class action lawsuit in the wrongfull deaths caused by the governing body's enforcement of a "no blood transfusion allowed" policy which used the threat of disfellowshipment.

In a local congregation, a MS is being accused of fondling a 14 year old girl. The Elders are pulling the "2 witness rule" out of their arses to protect the guy. He was 22 at the time. His family is pretty big in the congregation. His Father, Uncle, and Cousin are all Elders in the cong. His brother in law (Bill C.) is actually a super, sincere, guy. Anyway, Nathan Ar%&urs is his name. He has been accused by many of being a borderline pedophile, yet is still protected by his influential family. He has apparently denied any wrongdoing, and is still conducting book studies. In all fairness, these could be false accusations. Maybe.....maybe not. I'm registered to a different cong, but I hear all this stuff from my Mom. Seems there's always some scandal going on in that cong.

To R6Laser- I'm not sure if he is related- I know his parents live near Chicago-not sure on that though-Is this an older person? He does have a brother but don't think he is in the truf. This incident has stirred alot of people up because he seemed so STRONG. Also very arrogent so many were not surprised-many were probably relieved he left!

It is T. B#ffa. Wendy, his wife, still comes to the meetings. I feel bad for her. He was considered to be quite a flirt with the sisters. Of course rumours abound as to what the real story was/is. Just thought I'd share, in case anyone remembers him.

I'm thinking of going back
by Smoky inover the weekend my cousin came to visit from mi, and her husband (elder) started to do his shepperding thing with me (have not attended meetings for over 1 year), and made a compeling argument about how the holy spirit is given by god only if you attend meeting and go to field service...etc, etc.
and the whole "faith and works" issue.
it was a different angle that i have never heard before, about me being a "instrument or tool" of god...blah, blah, blah... anyhow, it got me thinking about going back...especially when things are not going to well for me right now... (he said its because i left jehovah).. how can i convince myself that this is not true?
