  It's funny that people like to attack Rap music for the "message" Rap music sends out. But glorify people like Johnny Cash who recorded a song called 'Folsom Prison Blues"...Let's take a look at some of the lyrics of what is considered to be a "Classic".........

  " Well I shot a man in Reno.....Just to watch him die" (loud cheers from the audience).

  Don't get me wrong, I like Johnny Cash. I also used to dig some Ice T stuff. I also like classical music, despite it's 'Satanic melodies' (lol). I'm all over the place w/music. I hate dixieland jazz though, it gives me a headache.

  Watchtower Attorneys Stumped

  today, october 6, in manchester tennessee the court considered the motion to dismiss petitioned by the watchtower bible and tract society in the case of anderson vs watchtower.

  during the hearing for the first time ever the watchtower attorneys were stumped, at a loss for words, silence in the courtroom for what seemed like a 'millennium'.

  I don't know all the details of this case, but it would seem that if B. Anderson were discouraged/threatened with disfellowshipping for going to the authorities about a crime, that it could/should be a case of obstruction of justice. Sorry if im reiterating what's already been discussed.

  could anyone please tell me in what year / publication the society decided that it was the faithful and discreet slave.. i am aware that between 1896 and 1927 the fds was considered to be a single individual and not a class of persons so i believe that it must have been sometime after 1927 when they first made the claim.. thanks to anyone who can come up with the information.. link.

  i have been reading the isaiah book part 2, the book the witnesses are studying right now at the book study.

  in this book they everything has a modern day fulfillment...with them.

  just as in the revelation book, where the 7 trumpet blasts are referred to as being bible student conventions in the 1920's.

  I have been reading the Isaiah book part 2, the book the witnesses are studying right now at the book study. In this book they everything has a modern day fulfillment...WITH THEM. Just as in the Revelation book, where the 7 trumpet blasts are referred to as being bible student conventions in the 1920's. It was stated in one of the concluding chapters of this Isaiah book that the exiled Jews returning from Babylon after years of captivity have a "modern day fulfillment" when our dear brothers were in "spirtual captivity" in 1918 or whatever, and then brought into a "spiritual paradise" when the brothers were exonerated of the false charges made against them by the civil authorities in the grand year of 1919. Do they really believe that that was what Isaiah was referring to? I can answer that..YES. Who the @#$% cares about the circumstances surrounding this incident? I would guess 90 percent of the witnesses could'nt even tell you what happened then, no less "worldly people". That's how freaking significant it was. But yet it is an important fulfillment of bible prophecy? This supposition is so ridiculous it's not even laughable (well kinda). What really happened in 1919? I've read in the "Proclaimers" book about it, but I'd be interested to know the "Truth". Thanks for any you can provide.

  It only appears to be not getting worse and worse. You see, Satan keeps transforming himself into an angel of light, and seeing as he is in control of this wicked system of things, it stands to reason that he would make things look as though they are not so bad. But God's organization, represented here on earth by the Faithful and Discreet Slave Class, can see just how bad this old world is, and if we say it's bad, rest assured it's bad.
