  A question for my UK cousins: What are the different British accents?

  since i have so many brits and uk types in one place, i was wondering if you all could classify or tell me the names of the different british accents.

  i think most in the states could be grouped by region and then each region divided into regular folks and folks with cash.

  for instance in thestates, you basically have north east which is can be characterized by your classic new york or boston accents.

  The Kinsey scale of sexuality (hetero 1 to homo 6) is a recurring theme between tijkmo and me. It's English and it's from the States.

  And the reason I say he sounds rough is because there's a good natured rivalry between our cities.

  toughest question anyone can ask, if the love of your life, and mate/wife/husband/boyfriend/girlfriend messed around on you, whether it be once or for years, how would you handle it and what would you do, think about it slowly and carefully.. wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy.. it's said that 50 % of marriages are affected by an affair, it's probaly alot higher.. did you notice any affairs in your congregation ???.

  i just read david_10's thread "my mother died..." 13 years ago i called my mother, after i had left the lie because i'm gay.

  i hadn't been disfellowshipped at that point, but she told me she didn't want to keep in contact because "being homosexual is one of the worst things.

  " i told her ok and have never tried to contact her again.

  The letter thing... I dunno. It sounds like she's had plenty of time to reflect upon her life, how she raised and ultimately rejected you, so a letter outlining the reasons you feel hurt is unlikely to soften her, more like harden her resolve. And possibly expose yourself to her scorn. The ball's in her court and the only letter I'd write was with my address so that she could then contact me if she had changed her stance.

  If your life is good without her, that's the price she's paid. Keep on living it.

  i've been having several outbreaks of conspiracy theories lately and a wierd one that came to mind was if anyone has ever met minimus in person before?

  think about it....what better way is there to gather intel on a rather large group of ex and current jw's than to ask detailed questions on every facet of your life?

  typically, someone that has over a few thousand posts has been to a meetup of some sort, even a small one.
