  How Many Clocks Did You Reset

  i had 15 to reset to daylight saving time last night.

  there was the cook stove, coffee maker, mivrowave, tvs, alarm clocks, electric clocks, wind up clocks, car clocks, wrist watch.

  the dvd player and computers did it automatically.

  I only had 3 clocks to change.. and I haven't done it yet.

  Question: Where are they discontinuing daylight savings? I heard that they are changing when it occurs, not getting rid of it. This is what Wikpedia had to say:

  In 2006

  The schedule for 2006 in the United States is that DST began on the first Sunday in April (April 2, 2006), and changes back to standard time on the last Sunday in October (October 29, 2006). The time is adjusted at 2 AM.

  From 2007

  Beginning in 2007, DST will start on the second Sunday in March (March 11, 2007), and change back to standard time on the first Sunday in November (November 4, 2007

  Not sure if that applies elsewhere.

  Everyone I knew went to Hawaii or Mexico..... a lot.

  No idea why, no imagination for where else they could go, I guess .. I was always too broke to go anywhere.

  I recently returned here after a long absence. My Mom had been acting wierder than usual, so I checked in here to see if there was a reason. I heard about the recent WT article on when a loved one leaves Jah and knew that had to be what was behind her angst I didn't really know where else to look for that kind of info.. gotta love this board!

  the thread on the wt$ and the illuminati got me to think, and since i have to write a term paper in my sociology class i thought why not research some conspiracy theories.

  please help be listing some of your favorite ones.

  i only ask that you not tell me about 9/11, or the kennedy clan assassinations.

  Ah! You mock me for lumping Disney in with all the other nastys... Let's see, it's a big multi-national Gazillion dollar Corp, no room for conspiracies there!!

  Did you know that Jim Henson refused to sell out to Disney? Then he mysteriously dies of pneumonia and suddenly Disney owns the muppets.

  Douglas Adams was having some difficulty writing the screenplay for Hitchhiker's Guide to Disney's satisfaction.. and he suddenly dies of pneumonia!! coincidence??? I think not!! (or at least I ry to avoid it)

  Disney has it's finger in just about every big pie you can think of.

  I probably shouldn't post this.. I've revealed to much.. they'll be after me next!

  Bush was pushing his timber, I mean wildfire, bill when he came to visit in Oregon.. a wildfire started the same day in the area he was headed to.. then a few years later, the same thing happened again.. he was coming to visit and promote his anti-wildfire bill (you know the one where you cut down trees to prevent wildfire) and a fire broke out.. there were those who swore they saw black helicopters in the vacinity of where the fire started.. don't know if I believe that, I do know that the stupid wildfire bill is a bunch of BS.

  Just how efficient is the US Government?

  so i changed my address... online and i thought, wow, that was easy.

  i also paid a buck to register to vote.

  both were over 3 months ago.. i go to vote today in early voting but to no avail.

  Funny you should mention Pot, Mike... it's the only thing that even comes close to helping hubby with pain, but if he get's caught using it he would lose all his VA benifits.. ironic, eh? He's even legal for it in our state, but the fed's could still yank all his benifits.

  In all seriousness.. no, I don't think he's out there. I, too, have camped and hiked over much of Oregon and Washington (not so much Calif) and my hubby grew up in the wilds of Alaska, and neither of us has seen signs of one. I know he (my hubby) likes to think he's started a few rumors by walking around barefooted in remote spots.. he might even be right, there was a report of signs of one shortly after we went arrow head hunting in an area

  Wow, calyndra!! That's a lot of critters! and I'm guessing there's at least one Harry Potter fan in your house :)

  We have a Malamutt and two silver tabbys.. I love my hairy kids, but sometimes they drive me nuts! The cats are elderly and I clean up cat barf allll the time, ugh.. and we are currently without a fenced yard so I walk simon (the malamutt) and somedays I get really tired of trying to convince him to poo :)

  Not sure what I'd do without any of them, though, and my cats were there for me when no human was, so I guess a little barf isn't so bad.
