  eventually they came out and we went home and that was the end of it.powys: when confronted, ian cousins confessed he was abusing his daughter.

  didn't believe me at all and he said that i was a liar, and that my dad would never do such a thing and my .

  I just noticed this thread and was asked by my sister-in-law if I had heard about a TV program called W2. This was aired recently in Calgary, Canada. It had to do with a telephone conversation and interviews with some of the players as well as a top member of the WT in Brooklyn.

  My question is, has anyone here have any info on this program and if a transcript or video of the program is available?

  More information needed regarding End Time Religions/Sects

  this year i am going to write my thesis about the end time, armageddon, ... .

  do you have knowledge of other religious movements or sects who believe in a sort of end of the world as we know it.

  All religions have some sort of preconceived idea that the world will come to an end at specific times. Scientivically our sun still has a life of millions of years and when it goes out that will be the end of life on earth.

  As far as heaven and earth is concerned, they are both here on earth. It is all in your mind and you can make life heaven if you think about it in that way. Life can be hell also. It is all up to you.

  I have arrived at this conclusion after lots of reading. There is not a religion on earth that can satisfy the inquisititive mind. We will know the answer of a supreme being when we can answer how the universe works.

  his statement was that only the mother is a jw.

  as you all know, my daughter is presently housed in the patterson complex to work for the borg for little remuneration.

  my question is, does the wts have a program that offers the equivalent of social security on retirement?

  i know that under certain circumstances large corporations are permitted to have such a plan in lieu of the fica and must conform to the governments fica plan or better.

  As you all know, my daughter is presently housed in the Patterson complex to work for the Borg for little remuneration. My question is, Does the WTS have a program that offers the equivalent of Social Security on retirement? I know that under certain circumstances large corporations are permitted to have such a plan in lieu of the FICA and must conform to the governments FICA plan or better. As we all know the contribution to FICA is based on your salary which in turn governs the amount you will receive on retirement. (ie. the more you pay into it the more you will receive with a minimum of 40 quarters or 120 months). If the WTS has such a plan what "salary" is used as the basis of donation and ultimate remuneration at retirement?

  This may be asking too much from you folkes but I am interested in obtaining good solid evidence of what these figures are.

  Religions should be financed by the people that benefit from it. I and many people like me get absolutely nothing from all religions that exist in this world. Why should I pay taxes for such institutions when I get nothing out of them, especially the cults who for the most part, inflict the most damage to our society and the people in it.

  Trip to Calgary, Canada

  well, i managed to make the round trip to calgary canada without too much trouble.

  i made the usual tour of the area including banff, lake louise, canmore and kananaskis country.

  gorgeous country.

  Well, I managed to make the round trip to Calgary Canada without too much trouble. I made the usual tour of the area including Banff, Lake Louise, Canmore and Kananaskis country. Gorgeous country. Calgary also is a well laid out city. Heavy on the enviornment and healthy eating.

  While there, I came across a few items I would like to share with you all.
  In the Calgary Herald I came across a picture of Serena Williams in a dress Jehovah would blish at. The occasion was the presentation of the ESPRY award for the Best Tennis player and Best athlete of the year. The dress, of her own design, was a long pink number with a V-neck that plunged to her navel and slit skirt that rose up to her crotch. There was a lot of skin exposed on this picture as she was walking, fast I presume, which opened the front for more effect.There's a lot of woman there.

  Then I read about the divorce of a couple of JWs whose daughter died as a result of refusing a blood transfusion. She died of acute myeloid leukemia. Refusing a blood transfusion, condoned by her mother and herself, meant certain death fo this 17 year old. Being under aged, the burden of her death lies on her mother's shoulders. Sad situation.

  Then on my return home, I stopped at a motel in Ft. Benton, MT and found that the JWs are active in placing NWT bibles in the motel rooms in that area. I thought the Gideons were the only org that did this sort of thing.

  Aside from the above all went well with little to no rain and warm and sunny days.

  Canada

  well folks i will be spending the next 3 or 4 weeks in calgary, canada.

  i have a sister-in-law that lives in the nw part of the city.

  i was just wondering if there were any ex's that live in that neck of the woods.

I was just wondering if there were any ex's that live in that neck of the woods. I have been there many times and it is a very nice city. I hear that the JWs are very strong there. Is that true?
