My belief is that no one will intervene what so ever. Let's just do our best.

Will God intervine?
by kelsey007 inor is this life on earth only a testing or proving ground for an eternal life elsewhere?
as jw's we were taught that god will intervine in the world and bring the earth to a unified state under a theocratic government.
so, is man capable of maintaining the earth without intervention from a "higher source"?

This is one XJW get together that I could get to as Spokane is only a days drive away. And I have friends there, many.
When is it? I mean, I don't know a lot of people on this board yet but I'd still love to meet some in person.

My heart is very sad
by kenpodragon ini know some of the people that come to this board, used to go to the beyondjw.com boards.
if you have then you might have known dana, aka wingedgoddess01.
if you did, i am sad to report that yesterday her 14 month daughter died.

Knowing Dana...she does not wish to receive any calls. Not right now. I'm certain she will not want her address out either but I do know that the love being sent her way will be received.
Dragon if you speak to her....remember to tell her to hold on. If she feels weak, we are all here for her. I know she wants her privacy. I'll email my phone to you to relay to her later. I just want her to know that there are so many who care.

I've been crying off and on all morning. This is truly a horrible thing to try and push aside. It's snowing and white outside. As much as I hate snow, it is calming for me. It is amazing how we come to love people we meet on the internet. Dana is such a kind and gentle soul. She is the reason I defend her religion (wicca) because it is slandered with evil words and look at the warm loving person she is!
I feel like I"ve known her for years but it's been barely a year that I met her and she has always been so devoted to her children and marriage. She is truly the epitome of motherhood. The best you could imagine. I can't even imagine the pain she must have. Right now she must be too stunned to think. All I can do is choke up.

This was great!!!
I agree that pam anderson needs to do her make up differently. I've always thought she was Unattractive until I saw the no makeup shot! Good grief, she looks awful WITH the makeup!
THe rest of them...well, we're all human. I have my days that I can turn a lot of heads but if you saw me right now...ouch! Got my black glasses on, hair pinned back and not to ladylike about it, apron covered in flour from cookie baking and big stupid eeyore slippers on...makeup? are you kidding! ha ha ha I loved those pictures. I want to get me some glam shots!

Just when you think your mind is fixed
by kenpodragon inthe other day i was doing some shopping at the local mall with my wife, and she wanted me to go next door to this book store and pick up this book for her.
i went in and picked up the book, and went to the counter to pay for it.
the man looked at the book and it was a title that was not exactly something most men buy.

heeheehee! You made me laugh Dragon.
See....my husband was raised catholic. Had a gay uncle that he adored too. YET! he is too funny sometimes. Gay stuff...well, it disturbs him. Everytime we get in to a gay discussion, me thinking it is totally cool and he well, NOT. I bring up his much loved uncle who he misses greatly.
Yesterday we were looking at calendars, you know those stands where they sell any calendar you want. He said for me NOT to pick out a cat one for a fifth year in a row so I started looking at horses. He picked up "Construction site girls" (I don't have to tell you that these girls don't really look all that dressed for the part) So to tease him back, I picked up Chip and Dale dancers. He said all loudly, "Oh come on, you know any guy that fusses over how he looks to that extreme is Gay!" Funny thing, I think the two guys looking there at the calendars with us were gay as well. So I added the seinfeld "..not that there's anything WRONG with that right?"

So Has Anyone Got A Joke For HL Then?
by Englishman in3 times a year, at the end of every college term, her ladyship likes to have a joke to tell at the end of term party.
normally softly spoken and amiable, she likes to have a well rehearsed, totally original joke to tell at the party, the more raucous the better as far as she is concerned.
in fact, she has become something of a legend now, so that she is already being asked if she has her joke sorted out for xmas, so good at the telling of them is she.. the problem is, that this terms joke, whilst being exceedingly funny, does require the use of a welsh accent.

Okay us montanans don't really talk like we're from texas but putting the southern drawl on the c'boys would work for brits.
