Right Metatron......In the early 1970s they, watchtower, discouraged me from going to college. I planned to receive scholarships too. The Elders reminded me of 1975...which was only a year away, too.

Detailing those who are alive in that generation of 1914 we would see the ending of this world's system. Have we? No. Yet the Watchtower states it's the Creator's promise. Is this promise from Jehovah Himself? Or is it the Watchtower's idea of a joke? You figure it out.
Jehovah is the same, today, yesterday, and forever......Saying this one should ask about 1874, 1914, 1919, 1925, 1941, 1975, and guess what? 2034...........
We listened after the first failed prophecy.....then the one concerning 1914......then 1975 and about Adam and Eve on 1975....Now do we sit and listen to the great wonderful powerful wizard....or watchtower.
So..stop here..and if by chance you have or a friend has a copy on, "Reasoning from the Scriptures," page 234, sub heading, "Last Days," read it.
So we are suppose to be in the new system with the anointed who lived in the 1914 generation..oh yeah, haven't died yet, in a perfect world. Doesn't it seem we are still at war? Maybe it's should be invisible as said the watchtower as Christ's return invisible.

January 17, 1994.....roughly 4:39 A.M. I woke in Canoga Park, San Frenando Vally, with the ground shaking violently. It lasted about 35 to 45 seconds.
All power was out...everywhere.A few minutes later the radio said it was either a 6.8-7 on the scale. Cal-Tech was out so we had to rely on Colorado to tell us.
Right up the street from me a 100 unit 3-story apartment building suddenly became a 2 story building.
So a 5 to 6 don't phase me. In `94 I lived 2 miles from the eppic center......where it all started.....lol....

keep prayer in mind. Always keep ready for the question why you have this faith.....On top of that, never turn your back on a Jehovah Witnesses. You never can tell if or when one may turn to you. These people desperatly need Christ.....
Never have contempt for these folks. They have no idea what harm they may cause.....and if nothing more works for you just remember this.....Christ loved the sinners and died for them. For no man has a greater love then to give up his life for his friends.......

It use to come out of their Awake magazine. Even the world wide news from around the world came out......The Watchtower's main teaching was...as follows........"Most important this magazine(AWAKE) builds confidence in the Creator's promise in a powerful and secure new world before the generation that saw the advents of 1914 pass away"
But it was dropped, in the Awake, after October 1995. Then on October 15, 1995 in the Watchtower, they explain why it was dropped.
This was their most promising doctrine......it was dropped, my opinion, is because the anointed would be very buried.....Watchtower published, "Millions now living will never die." yet they did.
If you go back before 1874 you'll find that Russell proclaimed the end in 1914 and all kingdoms will fall because armageddon would be upon us.......opppps! getting carried away.....

Funny thing here.......if the trinity really doesn't excist how can the watchtower, after the bible tells us there is no other God but Jehovah, how on earth would Jehovah create another god as seen in the new world translation of the holy scriptures, in john 1:1....."a god.......?
Way I understand it, If Jehovah God was the only true god....He wouldn't be God, if He created another god, as the JWs have been known to say about Almighty God and god.........
True.....the word trinity is only a word in latin, in which means 3 beings in one God. But what is fascinating is that the Watchtower tells most JWs do not trust the catholic church, but at the same time, embrace a word "jehovah," when a 15th century catholic monk came up with it.

The Da Vinci code
by sym inhi there - has anything been discussed/announced on this book by the jw's - i know other religious groups have.
i kind of think it backs up some jw beliefs that the church is built on ideas formulated by rome and not christ but that also it undermines the very basis of all christianity as well - i just imagined it being the type of book the elders would tell you not to read.
i remember when i used to go, there where lots of things we should not read or become educated on.

Truth is the Holy Grail is just as a hot hunt as it was back in the daRK AGES. Then someone called Da Vinci did the last supper. Out of that was the Da Vinci code.
Yes..there are many as thousands are re-reading the Holy Grail as the Da Vinci code. Does this surprise me? Of course not. Any new idea dream or fantasy drives men and women to push forward. These people were called the Illuminati......masonry have, almost, the same goal.
Fantasy? Who knows......so why not the Da Vinci code?..It reads good.....

Try this one for size....... The Antichrist, the False Prophet, and the Beast. Three right? I call them the unholy trinity. All three fall under the heading of SATAN.
The Antichrist has been spreading that the true resurrection never happened. HE wants you to believe that Christ was reincarnted as a spirit. The False Prophet is leading by lying to the masses.....And the Beast.......as we may come to know is devouring all who refuse to accept the antichrist and the false prophet.....known as SATAN, as God.
So the three in The God Head....there is the three unholy Trinity as Satan.....simple.....
