An elder wants to study with me...please help!
by shotgun inafter my recent barrage of elder visits i've been told that to truly show i'm willing to work at restoring my faith a bs is needed.. i want to be able to pick a few recent publications (last 10 yrs) and sit down with him and examine all the quotes and references in the publications to show how the society has misquoted and misrepresented so much in their publications.
do you know which publications would be best..keeping in mind the reference material will also have to readily accessible to be of any use.
i don't think searching on the internet will be acceptable to him.. .

When feminism started it had noble aims. Improve the quality of life and insure the well being of women. To give women a voice, socially, politically, and culturally. In practical terms its goal was highjacked by a more anti male militiant group. Its goal, as I have explained to my 18 year old daughter, has more to do with disenpowering man than actually helping women. Ladies.... feminism, as it stands now, is not designed to make you happy! A happy woman is a lousy feminist. Your controllers want you pissed off, and they want that anger directed at men! My daughter is welcome to stand up for womens rights. BUT...as I have said to her...DO NOT shove it in my face and try to punish me for the injustice in the world. I love women and I love my baby dearly, but I'll no more take shit from some angry women anymore than I'll take shit from a smoker who is pissed because he has to take his cig. outside to smoke! Asleif: I was being a wise guy dear. But the point is a person should be comfortable with who they are. And a persons gender is an important part of that self image. I admire strong capable women. Pilots, police, doctors, etc. I don't feel treatened. My daughter is a very beautiful women and she will stand toe to toe with me if she thinks I'm wrong. Being a woman is a wonderful thing...I love them...I love the very concept. You can DO anything you want or put your mind to...and not sacrifice being a woman. All I ask is that I be treated with the same regard as a man. I am proud of being one. And I am tired of taking shit for it. Must there be a right and a wrong? Can't we just enjoy the other sex? GaryBuss hit it right on the head! But what always got me was that the dopes would brag about how cheap their clothes were! I was listening to these guys talk about how little they paid for their suits one night. I was wearing a $900 suit, Itailian loafers and $50 silk tie, not to mention about $2500 in jewelry! I finally had enough and told them I had them all beat. I took my suit of this sleeping drunk and all it cost me was the dry cleaning! For some reason they didn't think that was funny. I sure did! Hey Gumby...I'm running for membership to the top ten biggest apostate list. What do I need to do? I told the PO that he was just a retired grochery clerk, and sent out about 50 NGO letters to the friends with his return address on them. I told the CO that he was just a corporate inspector and asked him if he ever had a real job. I wrote the Baptisum Nullification letter, sent that to several hundred duds. I know people have been using that BN concept. I send out letters to different ones all the time and have given copies of CoC to friends for them to read. I grew my hair long in protest and I tell all my clients why. I even have been having sex with an active sister in the Hall. So who do I have to kill to get on the top ten list? Maverick

I love all those things. When I have to 'problem solve' or work on a very complex design I listen to the classics. I am always looking for a great piece of art. When I got divorced the ex took 95 paintings and other pieces we had aquired in 15 years. She left me 5. This was more depressing than her taking all the furnishings. In the five years since she has been gone I have replaced most of them. I love good books and poetry too! Art or folk fairs are great as well. Real men sip champagne, go to the Opera, and bar hop from 50ft power boats! Maverick
