it's been over 100 the past two days, and i can't take it anymore!
i know y'all from texas are used to it, but i'm not!
yes the heat has been brutal....crz weather this yr!
i used to live in an attic apt. w/o ac. in summer it would be really steamy. one night in desperation i filled up a shallow pan with ice cubes, put that in front of a fan and i sat in front of it. it worked!
well, not like ac, but try it and see if it helps. it got me thru.

after 9 long months of living in a shelter at the y here in ottawa in one tiny room --- .
i have finally got a place to live.. it is small and i will have to get rid of a few things - ok a lot of things but i will have a home again.
it is a small apartment in a seniors residence.

my friend (ms) is going to give talk #45 i told him it was posted here he said not possible because each congregation have different talk so this is not possible and the net is all bs and we know nothing here all we post is just to undermine the wts so if someone know what is talk #45 pls pls post it so i can show him we have the truth.

does wts really outline and program all public talks now? i left in '76. but certainly my father composed his own talks, did voluminous research doing so. and i am quite sure my first husband did same, at least to some degree.
i guess they want to make sure no deviation from "official" views.

women, you seem to always be able to admit that you can spot an attractive woman and be ok with it.
no need of having any fear of homosexual tendencies, not that there's anything wrong with it...but guys, will you ever admit that you can look at another man and know that he's attractive and good looking, with no fear within your inner being that you may be gay?.
i was in converse with my wife and mentioned to her how attracted men are to other women.
very recent experience....
husband and i had dinner out with another couple tonight. the WAITER(!) was absolutely gorgeous. young italian, black hair, obviously a regular at some gym, and paul newman blue eyes. every time he walked away from the table we all gushed. men and women alike and we were all in agreement. the guys even said he was "cute"!!
can't imagine what he was doing waiting tables....unless he is an heir of this very popular italian restaurant.
a year ago, i would've never attended.

sorry, i had the title a bit wrong. it is called "me, you and everyone we know". the us distributor is IFC films. it won a special jury price for "originality of vision" at 2005 sundance film festival.
if you google in that title, or miranda july it should come up.
