some say god exists outside of time and space therefore he can predict the future.. any comments?

So now we've gone from "can God exist outside time" to "why does He allow suffering"? I take it, then, that you guys have conceded that it's possible for him to exist outside time?
As to why He would allow suffering... I dunno. When I have the answer to that, I'll let you know.

"We Want You To Know That the Governing Body LOVES You"
by minimus inat a number of elder's meetings with the circuit and district overseers, over the years, we were told that the governing body loved us.
the gb were said to truly appreciate all of our hard work in behalf of jehovah god and his organization..............i thought thay you would be pleased to know how the governing body feels about us.

I dunno... this scarily reminds me of "Big Brother loves you."
The same sort of attempt by an impersonal, distant leader to draw personal loyalty as a tool of mind-control.

The Duplicate Chapters
by RunningMan in.
i was rooting around on an internet site the other day and noticed an unusual comment.. open your bible to 2 kings chapter 19. then open it to isaiah chapter 37. now, compare the two.. the two chapters are identical - word for word.
it looks like god's word processor had a hiccup.

How can God see what I will do next year if somewhere between now and then I exercise my free will to lets say, jump off a building. I wouldn't even be here next year. In other words what actually hapens at all points in time. would actually be constantly changing. Am I not getting something here?
Why do you believe that God can see what you did last year, but not next year?

Bathsheba... while all are welcome in this forum, you will find that most of us do not believe that the Watchtower Society is God's organization. If you're comfortable with that, then by all means please stay, and welcome! Many of us here have been victims of injustice at the hands of the WTS, so you will find a lot of sympathy here. I'm glad to hear that you didn't let the bull-headedness of the local elders stop you from being with the man you love. :)

A Question for serious Bible Students...
by Jessica Rabbit inwhy were some ancient writings not included in the bible as we know it?
for instance the book of enoch goes into detail of his experience of being taken to heaven and later coming back to earth to share his experience with his sons, and then later died a natural death.
i have read this book and it is full of details that no one back then could have described without our modern science and technology we have today.

Jessica... I've only recently started doing research with a free mind. I did, however, do a little research into the Apocrypha while I was still a dub.
Much of the Hebrew apocrypha seems to date to the Hellenistic age of Judaism. Many of the books were written in Greek, rather than Hebrew. Also, many of them are pseudepigraphic... i.e. they claim to be written by historical individuals mentioned in the Hebrew Scriptures, even though the evidence points to their being written in the Hellenistc period. So while I wouldn't dismiss them all with a broad brush, I'm personally inclined to trust the rabbinical canon of the Hebrew scriptures. (Although some books, such as Esther, are definitely questionable.)
The Greek canon, however, is a total mess. As was mentioned, it wasn't officially established until the 4th century. There is lots of Christian literature from the first century that was not included in the canon; and various of the books now considred canonical--such as Hebrews and James--were controverisal for the first couple of centuries.
So unless one believes in the authority of the Catholic Councils, I don't think that there's really any option but to research the matter for oneself, and decide what books to accept. I hope to begin doing that shortly.
