Oh, there's an idea. Start a "ministry" (non-religious) for elderly JWs. I wonder how one could identify them.

Who composes the JW music?
by JH inwho composed the songs in the song book "sing praises to jehovah", and who decides what song is suitable or not?
the song book is almost 20 years old, and i wonder if they will come out with a new song book?.
although a few songs are nice, i find that most of them are dull.

I don't know why "Forward, you witnesses" is so hysterical but I keep giggling. Mush, you huskies!

Manchester Assembly
by Gadget ini've been talking to a few witnesses who were at the assembly this weekend, and apparently there were loads of apostates there!
any body from here go?
i was told about silent lambs, and some others who were giving out leaflets.

by ScoobySnax ini know i'm probably a bit behind here, but i've just read from another site, that the wt has "ordered a crackdown (via the co's to the local elders) on inactive ones........." where's this info come from?

How are inactives in the WTS's hair? Don't they all get to be counted when WTS does the numbers?

LANDMARK DECISION - Vicki Boer vs Watchtower Society
by Uzzah inas most are aware, vicki boer has been long awaiting a decision to be handed down in a case she started against the society in canada.. the decision was handed down today.
as with any 55 page decision, it will take some time for the legal experts to hash it over and decipher what was said.
but, in a nutshell..... vicki won.

Well, I'm still confused. From Marks' background, it certainly looks as if he knew exactly what the judge needed to make the right decision but failed to provide it. Again, why on earth would he do that?

It almost sounds as if you think that Marks "threw" the case. Why on earth would he do that?

But could the elders use information they garnered from lurking on this site? Wouldn't they then have to admit they also hang out here? Surely they would have to read every single thread every single day looking for a lost sheep wouldn't they? How could they support that?
