  IPCC Climate Change Report........

  .....states that there is 95% certainty climate change is man made.

  people are still saying we don't need to do anything about it.. if you were told there is a 95% risk of you dying if you don't change your diet, wouldn't you change your diet?.

  Unfortunatly the Church of Global CoolingGlobal Warming Climate Change is just like any other faith based religion. In fact it scary how much it mirrors the JW's. You can not look at any data outside of their published reports....about 1000 scientists that are not funded by the governments or the UN came out right away and destroyed the report. There are plenty of false prophecies, in the 70's it was Global Cooling, then the data disproved that....it turned into Global Warming.....then the data disproved that....so now it's "Climate Change." Any dissenting opinions are considered apostasy. And then the biggie!! MONEY......the report is for the UN, and the UN's whole answer to the prolem.......tax America. That's right...money will make sea levels go down......kinda crazy. But...in their eyes.....they have the "Truth".

  Why do you think they changed their mind on organ transplants?

  from 1967 to early 1980, the watchtower stated that organ transplants were tantamount to "cannibalism.

  " then, suddenly, the position was changed to organ transplants being a "conscience matter.

  " so, my question, why the change?

  I really believe it's legal in nature. In the 2010 Elders book, in the section regarding what merits a committee meeting, nothing personal health related is mentioned there, not even blood transfusions. I'm not sure if it was in past editions, but something tells me the legal department told them to knock it off!

  Faders shunned now?

  hi all so my family had their c.a.

  last weekend and my mother dropped this one on me, she'll now be treating me as a df'd person per info she received from a talk at the assembly.

  apparently a fader should be treated as "bad association" given the fact they up and left the holy "truth" to splash around in vomit.. .

  The whole marking thing is most of it. It really let's them all personally CHOOSE who should be shunned and who's ok. More or less its a popularity contest. If you're inactive but in the in crowd, you're fine.... no worries. BUT if you're inactive and not real popular...... you must be doing something very bad!!!! I have never been in a hall that did not cliques, or some kind of political hierarchy within the R&F.

  Major goof in the Sept 1 WT article on Babel and the origin of languages

  just wanted to point out something that another poster brought up in the thread on the agm rumours, the writing department included a photo of a cuneiform tablet in their article on the origin of languages with a caption that states it is from 3000 bc.

  this would pre-date the global flood myth and the fanciful tower of babel story altogether, hah!.

  Not lazy.......smart. Make a statement, show any kind of physical evidence and they will believe it! Remember. .......you're not allowed to research outside of the WT......and now you're not supposed to look at old or past WT's or books.....only newest ones for the "brightest light". Its perfect! Believe without question what we say now and disregard anything have said or anything you find!

  in the spanish website extj one forum user shows evidence that on the 18th and 19th of september in chile the government calls to honor the nation displaying the national flag everywhere.

  failure to do so is liable to a fine.

  Not really shocking or surprising. ..... remember, the hardcore stand on voting has changed....yo keep the peace or avoid trouble. That stand would have saved lives in Malawi, but I digress. .... it's just another example of the new GB changing policy. The once hardline stance is now very fluid......

As the town gets close, there is a "Entering Sleepy Hollow" sign....with the population......which was...you guessed it.. 144,000. LMAO.........got me wondering if someone on the writing is an ex-JW......

  after two months of terribly abusive emails from my mother telling me that i "am not capable of appreciating true love" and her weird delusions that i have no friends and my life is a mess, i finally cut her off.

  Looks like the same person in the board avatar. Looks like a great great book!! Love seeing people getting out, being happy, being successful and more importantly...being at peace. Wish I coud find that peace.......
