Missing my siblings wedding
by NYCkid injust releasing some steam, but i'm going to be missing my siblings wedding this summer due to the fact i'm dfd.
my sibling invited me but i can't justify the travel expense (across the country) to observe a 20 minute ceremony and then go to a motel alone while everyone is stuffing their faces.. i just hits at the core of human relationships and is so divisive, but that is the point.
after months of no communication, my mother calls me this week to remind me of what i'm missing out on.

Ever Got the blame?? (sorry if post is too long)
by sparrow ini have been df'd for around 4 years and have not got my back up about the org until this year.
only this last year have i been looking around for answers and started realising there is a foundation for my reasons of not going back.
at first i was happy that it wasn't because i was making excuses for not going back but bad things were happening outside of the people i know across the org.. what pissed me off the most (and the reason i found this site) is because i got the blame for my brother in-law having sex in my house with someone other than his wife (my sister) because i am not witness and thus have low standards.. i'll try to keep this short: i have 2 sisters, one brother and 2 parents (fancy that) both remarried however.

Wow, that is pretty crazy. I am supposedly responsible for a witness friend smoking weed because a worldly friend lit up outside on my porch when I went to the grocery store. No one believes now that I do not smoke and I got on to him for doing so when I came home and saw it. But he was 2 years older than me and a ministerial servent, I was a lowly female so who was I to say anything more?

Please help Lola
by lola28 ini have a laptop that i bought december of 2005, i paid a good amount of money to get a full warranty on it, it is supposed to cover anything that happens to it, including things like theft, if i lost the laptop they would replace it with a new one and so on.
over a month ago the thing would not turn on, i took it into the store and they took it to their service dept and gave an order report, all i have to do is wait for it to be fixed.
so, i wait and i wait and then i wait some more, by now it's been four weeks and no word from the company.

GnR and the awesome freaking David Bowie/Nine Inch Nails concert all my worldly friends went to and said it was the best concert ever. I also hate I missed all of the Lallapaloosa's.

i know i can't stay here for the rest of my life.
so i'm trying to figure out what i could do to get myself on a path actually leading somewhere.

Damn, now I want some tasty little cakes. Actually though, that isn't a bad idea. Here where I work downtown a caterer brought by cookies that were awesome and now we will use them for our annual cookie deliveries for our clients. You could take it to the local library after storytime and give out little samples with a business card, playgrounds, formal dress shops, etc.

I think it sounds like a great idea. You definitely want to list with superpages.com and yellowpages.com and of course the local phone book. You may want to also take around flyers and or business cards. God knows you are probably great a going door to door and leaving such materials. LOL. Plus you may want to start a portfolio with your class. Take pictures of all your finished projects so that you can show your potential customers ideas. GOOD LUCK!! I am in the same place as you. I am just starting taking gemology courses.
