5 years inactive and still sometimes I'm haunted.

i've lately been thinking about the pernicious nature of the belief by the jw's that they are the one and only true religion.

how this belief allows for an egotistical world view and allows them to shun and denegrate those that do not share their opinions.. please pardon my round about thinking process as i've been mulling this rant for some time.

while my father's side of the family has been entrenched with the jw's for two generations before him, my mother was a new convert.

they announced last week that the new atanta assembly hall has thus far raised 3.4 million dollars.

my local told that will become the society's come may 1. i wonder how that will go over with the ones who have been contributing to this fund..

JW Witnessing Trolleys. To approach or ignore what is your preference and why?

i saw two brothers this morning next to the main train station in liverpool city centre this morning.

they were not actively approaching anyone.

what i found strange was that they were from a cong that has different territory, so i don't know why they were there.. anyway i knew them both, and they know i was df'd, i was in my car and couldn't park up for a chat, but i did beep and wave to them as i drove passed and they waved back.

Upon a closer look......nothing about that trolley cart says Watchtower. The JW religion is so embarrassed of itself that they resort to tricking people into thinking it's just another "Christian" group giving away bible literature.

I guess if I ever walked past one I would stop and check out the literature. See if anyone is willing to approach me. Maybe play look around and spot the dub it belongs to. If they did approach to talk, maybe shame them for "preaching" this way, then mention all the crazy changes in doctrine, and finally that I use to be a JW elder but now I think it is a cult.

Letter Read At Special Talk

the watchtower arranged to have a letter read announcing that elders would now be apponted by circuit overseers.. any elders on this forum know how this will be different from the current arrangement for appointing elders.. it would be nice to see a schematic with boxes showing how it used to be and how it will be in the future..

This moronic religion changes beliefs and the way they do things so much, and yet the JW dopes still believe it is the truth led by God's holy spirit.

Why would a God of truth pick these morons in 1919, and now hardly anything they believed then is believed now?

And now, why would a God of truth claim his JW people had to preach a true message worldwide before the end comes, and yet still changes major Watchtower doctrines & policies like a crooked corporate lawyer when about to be exposed for fraud?

Are all JWs united in their beliefs?

so i used to think that all witnesses believed the same exact thing but i have heard some claims that they believe things i'm not familiar with.

do you know if it's true?

The whole Jehovah Witness Watchtower religion theology, doctrines, beliefs, practices & policies are so convoluted, confusing and ever-changing that none of the JW at any time know exactly what they believe. This religion is nothing but man-made crap being made up as they go along.

These Watchtower trolley carts are a shame and a discrace for what the JW preaching of the good news of the Kingdom use to stand for. This has nothing to do with true religion or true worship of God. It's all about JW dopes setting these carts up in order to count easy time pleasing a time counting religious corporation cult.

JW's sit so far away from these cart things that most people don't even know the JW is there watching like a hidden trapper waiting to trap them into this Watchtower cult crap. If you can set up many feet away from these carts and count time, why can't the JW's chain them down and go do something constructive with there llves while they are counting serve-us time?

The whole JW religion is absolutely ridiculous. Anyone lurkering that is on the fence.....please do yourself and your family a favor and get out as soon as possible.
