More ridiculousity!!!
by 2SYN intaken from alanf's website, section "the society tries to censor the net":.
pregnancy is only considered "strong circumstantial evidence" (!

Oh, puh-leeeeze! I had to read this about 5 times before I could stop laughing. If the WTBTS makes any more rules as ingenious as these, it will collapse in on itself like a dying star PRETTY SOON.Isn't this just the most hilarious thing you've ever read?
Oh BTW AlanF your website is fugging awesome, it's one of the best anti-JW websites I've ever had the opportunity to visit...very meaty and interesting.

Is there a god module in the brain!!!!
by master chief ini recently read that certain patients who have damaged their brain in an accident or even had epelectic fits etc have for the first time in their life had a religious experience due to a certain region of the brain being sought of activated which deals with divine experiences or god.
some have even written in depth writings about there visions some have also claimed to be called by god so this made me think about abilities like maths, language, taste etc these are also preset into us arent they otherwise how else could learn to do these things so then are we preset to worship god.
aha so we are sought of like a computer with software programmed into us,so if so do we worship through free will or through a preprogrammed god module ????

I think it would be wrong to put that sort of thing into a small box and categorize it, because it varies dramatically from person to person.

Hm, if the entire world becomes a StarbucksMcDonaldsBurgerKingMicrosoftAOLTimeWarner franchise, then the WTBTS is screwed.
I still hold to my original point - there is just too much FUGGING momentum within the Society, too many people who are truly brainwashed - they are so deeply programmed that they couldn't leave even if they wanted to. They are trapped. Their minds are their own beautiful prisoners. Very sad I'm glad I got out in time.
Hehe - isn't that funny, the Dubs are urging people to get into the Org in time, but I'm glad I got out in time!
That momentum won't just disappear quickly, because the Dubs are also breeding. In fact, they EXCEL at breeding. So many Dub families have children that it is a sure fact the Org will probably be around in some form until I am dead in about 60 years if I lead a more healthy lifestyle than I do now.
In conclusion, the WTBTS is sick, but it is very convincing to people who WANT to believe in something.

Oddly enough, Jan 30 (today in SA) is my b/day, and I got one prezzie - from this girl I know, a very nice shirt that fits me really well. She has such good taste! Thanks girl! Made my day...it was so weird getting a b/day present, it just wasn't funny. I'v never gotten one, not ever.
I do party wildly tho, to make up for all the self-imposed strictness I lived under during my Dub days. Excellent!

Well, I'm DA'd Now! :)
by rem inmy judicial meeting took place on monday night.
i was a bit annoyed because the meeting centered on my private beliefs - things that i've already spoken to the elders about in the past many times before.
i don't think i handled myself as well as i wanted to, but i guess i did ok under the circumstances.

An open letter to all JWs who want to know why we
by closer2fine inbelieving is something you feel in your heart; exercising knowledge is something you do and actually requires no belief.
there is no need for an outside group to tell you how to go about doing this.
i can see that all that is truly required of you is that you believe jesus is lord, that his father raised him from the dead, that you love god with your whole heart, you love your neighbor as yourself, and you confess your beliefs to others.

I especially liked the last paragraph, thanks for posting this...it cleared up quite a few points for me. Every post that comes onto this board convinces me more and more just how wrong the WTBTS really is.
