well in case you don't know in britian there is a government campain to make access available to the internet to every single person in britian within 5 years.. soon internet access will be wide spread via the tv without the need for a computer.. as i say thats bad news for the society.

come on admit it, if you were brought up a witness you were dead scared that you were going to end up like the men you saw prowling the assembles and congregations looking for wives.. there would always be men and women in there 30's and 40 who had never had a boy or girl friend.. i used to know quite a few.. the horror of their lives shocks me.. now i not dissing anyone who has chosen not to marry that is their choice.but these people i know want to meet someone and get married.. but the bad news is that the older they get the harder it is to find a wife .what makes it worse is that the choice is so limited.. many of these grown men are even affraid of women .
why?.
because they are taught that even to look at a woman is to commit imorality let alone talk to one.. i knew a brother who had never had a girl friend , he was about 26 at the time.now a sister asks to go out with him so he accepts.quite soon she wants to hold his hand.. this brother now tells her off, for in the family book it says holding hands is only for people who are going to get married.. he doesn't go out with such a spiritually weak sister again.. what has the socity done to these peoples lives.. many people who were once happy teenagers hoping to meet the wife or husband of their dreams are now approaching 40 or even older and have never even had a girlfriend.theri only hope is the new system and i don't want to breack the news to them but its not coming.
Good grief! This thread just reminded me of my weird estranged relationship with a Dub who was in school with me for 2 years after I DA'd myself...he hung out with the same circle of friends as I did, and we were quite close b4 the DA thing...then after that everything just carried on as normal, I would laugh at his jokes, he would laugh at mine, but the two of us would never exchange 2 words! I guess I respected the fact that he wanted to remain a Dub...his ENTIRE family was in it. But he was still just the coolest guy! People would give us very odd looks sometimes. I knew the guy for 6 years, and the last 2 years of our estranged friendship we attended classes together, hung out together, but would never utter a single word to each other. Only since school ended I haven't been able to see him again...a pity, he was a nice guy. All the other Dubs in the school dropped me like a hot potato. Yikes!
I saw a couple of Dubs (literally a couple, a guy and a girl) wandering around in a shopping center near my home last weekend and it was the saddest thing. I knew that that boy and that girl (for that, mentally, is the highest level they've ever reached during their sheltered little existence inside the BOrg) were basically married to each other at birth by their parents - they had little choice in the matter, and one day their bitter marriage would end, but only figuratively - physically it would HAVE to continue until one partner snapped for lack of sex or lack of tenderness and went somewhere looking for it.
Damnit, this BOrganization has ruined so many young lives - it's one of the most angrifying things in the Entire Universe for me! [>:(]

i just found out my father died today...he had a heart attack in the middle of the night.

very interesting documentary on channel4 this evening, all about the sunken kingdoms, civilisations off india's east and west coasts.
both of these sunken cities are only now being seriously underwater archaelogically surveyed.
the one on the east coast is of massive dimensions, incedibly technologically advanced civilisation pre dating anything else thus far seen.
