  How many found the REAL truth from the internet?

  if it was'nt for the internet i would still be stuck in the endless cycle of drone like meeting attendance and field service.

  (technically i'm still in but not for long) i'm really glad that some ex-jws took the time to speak about the real truth.

  for the longest time i always thought that what i was taught was correct, i never even felt the need to question it or validate it with actual facts.

  but i have a question for all the ex-jw's......now that you're out, do you still believe in god?

  Well, the Bible is out for starters. So Christianity in general is currently a big no-no to me (smacks too much of Dubdom for my tastes!) at this point!

  One theory I do enjoy subscribing to is the Gaia theory, i.e. the whole planet is a giant, sentient organism.

  Unfortunately this means we are parasites of Gaia.

  Oh well.

  Or perhaps we are the spores of Gaia, destined to spread her Gaianess to the stars? It certainly seems like it. Even women have birth pangs...surely our current brash technological soiling of our own crib would be a very good anology to birth pangs?

  LOCAL KINGDOM HALL

  last sunday there were no cars in the kh carpark,wonder why, usually jam packed!.

  perhaps they worked that it was demon possessed as mentioned on one of my previous posts(i am still having bad luck,funny experience since touching their railings.).

  i was talking to one of two local council canditates who came round and i mentioned that vehicles whizz up and down our cul-de-sac, and one mentioned she lived virtually next to the kh and mentioned the jws speed up/down her cul-de-sac formula 1 style racing.

  Hey, look at it this way, which would you rather listen to, Prince or "We're Jehovah's Witnesses?" <NUDGES FARKEL> I know what my choice would be! Oh yeah, he's gonna be a BEST SELLER all right! People will snap up his CDs (or cassettes, I think that Brooklyn has banned high technology too, so CDs won't be allowed in the New System, as they are a corrupting influence. At least, this is what the Elder's wife told me, so it must be true) by the bucketload! *LOL*

  dear fellow posters,.

  ozziepost and his beautiful wife mrs ozzie are going through a very tough time right now, at the hands of the wts and its henchmen.

  in the space of a few weeks, they have lost their children and other family members due to the unchristian attitudes and pharisaic dogmas, despite having tried to quietly fade away from the wts.

  PLH: Have you ever noticed that the acronym of your username is almost identical to that other, exciting Dub site, PLN? Hehe. My situation was very similiar to yours, I didn't really know WHY I was leaving, all the Dubs just rubbed me up the wrong way and I didn't like the idea of losing half my life to religion, so I QUIT! Then I discovered the Truth about the tR0upH sometime later on...

  Is life really better out of the org?

  it strikes me that as witnesses most can find many faults with the world and reasons why they want to be no part of it.. things are often exagerated or demonised in the witneses eyes.. does the same thing happen in reverse when you leave the org?.

  do we blow things up out of proportion to how they really are?.

  are we really that much happier as people than we were in the org?.

  Yeah, some people just become institutionalized after a while, and can't cope with life outside the Tower. It's like those people who stay in prison for 60 years, and when they come out, they simply can't cope with the enormously fast-paced life around them. Hell, I know someone who was in prison for a mere 10 years, and when he came out, he had a hard time just getting his life back together. It was SO funny when he saw one of the new VW Beetles drive past, and he was like, "WTF is that????". But sad at the same time, because he had virtually no idea of the world we live in now, as contrasted to the one he left in 1991. He got left pretty far behind, but luckily he is a fighter by nature, so he's managing now, with a bit of help from me

  But hey, if spending half your life slaving away for a supposedly "non-profit" book publishing BOrganization is your idea of a good life, then it's all yours, baby. Enjoy it while you can still walk and are in good standing, because the moment you become old, infirm, and inactive, you disappear from your chosen Congregation's radar. Welcome to the REAL LIFE, suckers!

  Imbue: It was so easy it wasn't even funny. I just gave them a fake name, some appropriate details that I felt would be fitting to a Sister of my standing in the Congregation (*SPLUTTER* ), and then the name of a Congregation that I know exists, in some obscure region of my country.

  WHAM.

  I was in like Flynn...I never posted anything tho. Should have taken my chance while I could. I would've killed to see the sheperding call where the owner was told to stop running GC.NET, tho.
