  If I DA this way......

  if i wrote a letter of da to the congregation that only said i was da'ing with absolute zero reason.

  how do you think theyd respond?

  obviously an anouncement but im sure rumours would then start.

  thats how i da'd. wrote a letter saying i no longer want to be a jehovahs witness and remove me from your membership. they never asked why. i was anounced. i did this because i didnt was family/friends to encourage me to return. i had enough.

  thank u for all who post on here jwfacts and ex jw utubers. u have really helped me to see the truth about the truth. i da`d last summer. i wasnt born in but raised around the "truth". my mom believed but never baptised and uncle elder lived next door. i lived a so called worldly life from teens till late 20s. it was then that i started to have an interest in the bible. jw were then only religion i was familiar with. i still cant believe i was so naive. the worst part was i pulled my child into this mess. we were not in long 3 to 4 years but it was enough to turn my world upside down. last year this time i was regular pioneering. i had douts the whole time i suppressed them and covered them with works untill i had enough. i feel like those few years of my life were taken. on a lighter note we are free. just thought id introduce myself. thanks again. lildev

  yea i was kinda thinking bout ones that might use it to pick it apart. thanks for the thought. my daughter said take it to goodwill. heck no. i dont want some poor soul reading this an ruining there life.

  i have stopped going but my son goes with his dad once a week.

  my son got asked by his dad............... "do you want to be a publisher again?".

  i DA'd myself summer of last year. i tried to explain to my teen daughter why and she ran an covered her ears. maybe i should have had a better exit plan. didnt see her clinging to the org. none of my daughters immediate family goes to the hall. shes not baptised yet. i hope some day i can share why i left.

  i did believe for the first 30 years of my life that they had been picked by jehovah god to dispense the truth as best as imperfect humans could.

  then, everything became questionable.

  i had read anti jw books in the past but franz's books really got to me but not immediately.
