My relatives and parents complained in the last conversation with me that they were asked for money to provide better facilites for the organization in Czech Republic and Slovakia. What is interesting that Bethel in Prague was closed down after it was barely purchased and retrofitted. They also had nice villa in Prague-4, which was sold for $$$.

by Crazyguy ini have been doing a lot of research on the bible and its roots so to speak and its becoming clearer that the jews like other races took gods and stories from others and made them their own.
its also become clear that many of the books were written later then stated, like daniel probably written about a hundred years before christ and some of it maybe even after.
but what i don't get is the prophecies.

by bruh2012 ini guess the gb feels after they are raptured that their work is done since the new scrolls will be open by yhwh.. oh wait my bad - it will be by the local elders since they said a few wt studies ago that in so many words you better listen to the elders whether it makes sense or not.. if power and the use of the internet after armaggdon will pretty much be dead since those who operate it will be gone-.

Not sure what WT is teaching today but in the 1980's we were told that Annoited will die naturally duing the Tribulation and immediatelly resurrected into spiritual existence. I never heard the word Rapture in Eastern Europe until 1990's when I came to USA. Nobody there knows what the world Rapture means.

strypes. Rapture word does not appear anywhere in the Bible and it was unknown concept until 1830 by John Darby. I am aware of your text in I. Thes 4:17. Not only the world rapture is English, but other European languages including every Slavics do not have it nor can translate it properly. It this a concept invented by preachers during 2nd Awakening in USA. Mainstream denominations do not accept it which includes Catholic church, russian orthodox, greek orthodox, and protestant churches (like Lutherans, Episcopalian, Moravian Brethens, Calvinists...). Even Baptist churches are divided on this issue leaving rapture as a belief to extremist religious groups that originated in 19th century onward.
If you believe in rapture it is your opinion, nobody is taking it away from it, you are entitled to your opinion.

I don't believe the JWs will ever change and say the 144,000 is "symbolic"

because that will definitely be the "final nail" in their coffin.

144000 will change, because the number of partakers is increasing. It is not hard to matematically calculate how many anointed were before 1935 and how many were between then and today. Eventually the number will be over 144K and a new Light will claim that the number was symbolic.

I would think to this in the 1980's. I got my hair accidentally bleached, and my friend eventually bleached my entire hair to white. We went to city for fun that weekend and I and my friends did not like it as it looked, so they dyed my hair to bright green.. I got shaved it on Sunday so through the two day weekend I went from punk to skinhead. We were laughing on it for weeks. Wish I had some pics of it from that time.

I heard the talk of the last one Memorial since 1980's. Every attendence was hinted that it may be the last one. 30 years later, they say the same nonsense. For many JW it will be certainly the last one as noone was able to reverse the aging and dying. Either way, the Memorial is pitifull observation which does not correspond what Jesus had said.

If there was, is, or would be a spiritual warfare in different dimension, we will never known. You must also see that the writters of the OT & NT were not aware Earth as a planet in a huge galaxy. They believed that the Heaven surrounds this planet and all the writtings about heavenly warfare needs to be taken into the same context.

Do you know that rapture is totally invented concept made out by semiliterate reverends in the 19th century preaching to the masses of pioneers in the Great Plains during the 2nd Awakening? Do you know that the word rapture does not even have appropritate translation to many European languages, including mine? Do you know that Catholic, Greek Orthodox, and mainstream Protestantism uphold belief in rapture is a heresy?
