Can anyone direct me towards the first article where Rutherford changed the whole "Salvation for all" doctrine? so, even if jws of the great crowd are found faithful and sparred at armageddon, they still have to prove faithful at the final judgement at the end of 1,000 years, right?

2014 Annual Meeting Online

Around 3hrs into the Annual Meeting video, Mr. Lett is giving atalk regarding parables. He says that the ten virgins parable is about annointed christians staying faithful. Then he says that the "evil slave" parable in Matthew is also directed at annointed Christians if they were to not fullfill their duties (as in individually). I thought the Faithful slave was the Governing Body! But, the would be evil slave would be just the annointed Christians who proved unfaithful? This seems strange, since the "faithful slave" is said to be a 7 member governing body, but the "evil slave" is individual annointed Christians.

dude, every picture i see of any bethel heavies or gb members (a lot of cos also) have them wearing a second huge gold ring!

this is a clear sign of "hey i'm a bigshot!

" you just dont see that in interviews of celebrities or politicials.

You just dont see that in interviews of celebrities or politicials. One wedding ring is standard. Two is a sign of prominence or pretending your prominent. Just a social thing. Bunch of narcissists.

Sleep Problems

so, about a week and a half ago i finally realized that i am not longer one of jws, since i don't believe they are god's organization.. however, for two weeks, i have slept horrible!

my spouse thinks its stress.

i sleep all night but just don't feel that rested in the morning.

So, about a week and a half ago I finally realized that I am not longer one of JWs, since I don't believe they are God's organization.

However, for two weeks, I have slept horrible! My spouse thinks its stress. I sleep all night but just don't feel that rested in the morning. My Chiropractor friend recommended a sleep study.

Thoughts?

Yes, I successfully woke up spouse. He/she was actually fully out before me! Go figure! I guess I just couldn't let it go. Last straw for me was learning what Russell ACTUALLY taught. I then realized that Rutherford was the apostate!

Kids are small. Im keeping all the old bound volumes I have in storage, just in case extended family tried to sell them on this cult!

Regarding fading, it is easy for me. Me and my family moved out of state a couple years ago. I kinda pulled my wife with me but it was the best thing for me. Went to meetings here for about a year and a half. But, Elders here are so overworked and constantly move in and out of the halls, they didnt even notice or come after me. Thanks God!

To anyone that still believes in God, please pray for the lost souls that are JWs. They truly are captives of a concept. May we heap fiery coals upon their head with our behavior.
