  OK kids, I just had an idea, a twist on incidental witnessing. Go to restaurants and other public venues near the convention site and strike up friendly conversations with them on their off time. Pretend to be interested in what they are doing and their little "revival", you would have to be careful to avoid any witness vernacular so as not to tip them off, use words like church and sermon, you get the idea.

  Pland seeds by using all of the methods they use, ask questions, draw them out, they will think THEY are incidental witnessing.

  Sometimes I talk while I'm doin it. Hehe. Actually, the wheels turn pretty slowly between talk and do, if its a big deal, like going to college at 40, talk began at 35, but I did it. I quit smoking and lost 20 pounds, I call that doin.

  there are some pretty f-d up elders out there in the org.

  i have always dealt with heavy duty crap with a sense of humor, but i still feel deeply about the issue and it effects me.

  Unbelievable crapola, but I see that they put the little scene in a home setting, implying family members are the ones that don't know the difference, the scene should have taken place in the 2nd school, thats where it happened to my 15 year old friend back in the 70's

  GET A LAWYER, I think you should have a legitimate lawsuit here. Those freaking B@#456&S have no right. You don't have to talk to the elders, as you said, you are a grown man and I am pretty sure we don't have any religious police here. Between this and poor Arrowstar, I am hoppin mad. I hope I don't run into any JW's today, cuz they would get an earfull !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Don't you worry, this time in your life will pass. Mine did. When I left the borg, I had 4 children between 5 and 11 and not one friend or relative in the world. I know, as do most of us here how lonely and scared you are. Keep sharing here and feel love come to you. I would help if you ever want or need me, I am a pm away.   Englishman,

  That is all well and good for you, but I live in Wisconsin where we are still in the dead of winter. Yes the days are getting longer, but the snow is getting deeper. But I must say, the snow is beautiful. There is a very large pine tree outside my kitchen window and its branches are laden with snow. I do not wax poetic while I am scraping the stuff off my car however. We have at least 18 inches of snow on the ground. So the tulips and daffodils are a long way off. Enjoy yours and I will wait for mine!

  Please Help Me !!!! Desperate !!!!

  i am in serious need of some direction.

  for those of you are df'd and have children in the borg, i am going through a crisis.. i have two daughters 19 and 17 years of age and i was privileged to have met with them last night for about an hour.

  i haven't seen them for about 7 months, and was able to convince them to meet with me.

  Okay Puter,

  When I was the age of your daughters, I would definitely have towed the JW line on this. Kids that age are not able to have gray areas, its just not the way they operate. So normally I would not condone or recommend lying, but perhaps for the sake of your girls, you could perhaps say things that allow them to draw the conclusion that you may go back.

  Don't get all specific about it. Just use a little reverse "theocratic warfare". I'm sure your girls want to believe that you want to be in "the truth" with them and you would only have to let them believe for a while until you can let them see that you are still their Daddy and not the devil in disquise.

  Just let them believe, don't do or say anything that they could hold you to. Just use the JW way. You know. Season your saying with salt. Apples of gold in silver carving, blah blah blah. Then you can let your example speak for you. How nice and kind and loving you are. Good luck.

  Re: mad cow transmitted through transfusion- - - would that be the whole cow or just the disease? Had known that an entire cow could be transmitted I would definitely have remained in the borg. Surely it is a sign of Jehovah's blessing when he protects his people from having a cow transmitted in to their bloodstream.
