hahahaha AZ i bet they are checking you out but for other personal reasons ........ fortunately i havent had anything stolen that im aware of but i think i scared the sh*t out of some of my neighbors when i was transporting a pistol back into my apartment after a morning of target shooting.......... illegal to carry it loaded so when i was getting outta the car i loaded it and racked the slide........ all done outta site of anyone but they heard me do it and they knew what it meant. lol but i got enough people around that someone will have seen something. still locks and the like only protect you from the honest cause the dishonest will get in one way or another. i pity them if they do it when im home...... unless shes cute then im prolly stupid enough to help her carry stuff out.

Have any of you been a victim of a Break in?
by Uzzah ini guess i must have led a charmed life until now, but over the weekend someone broke into my home.
it isn't so much that they took stuff (slr camera, cell phone that belonged to a volunteer disaster services team, and cash) but that someone was in my private space without my knowledge.
it is amazing the head games such an event plays on you.

DONT EVER BE LATE
by primitivegenius ina parish priest was being honored at a dinner on the twenty-fifth anniversary of his arrival in that parish.
a leading local politician, who was a member of the congregation, was chosen to make the presentation and give a little speech at the dinner, but he was delayed in traffic, so the priest decided to say his own few words while they waited.
"you will understand," he said, "the seal of the confessional, can never be broken.

A leading local politician, who was a member of the congregation, was chosen to make the presentation and give a little speech at the dinner, but he was delayed in traffic, so the priest decided to say his own few words while they waited.
"You will understand," he said, "the seal of the confessional, can never be broken. However, I got my first impressions of the parish from the first confession I heard here. I can only hint vaguely about this, but when I
came here twenty-five years ago I thought I had been assigned to a terrible place. The very first chap who entered my confessional told me how he had stolen a television set, and when stopped by the police, had almost murdered the officer. Further, he told me he had embezzled money from his place of business and had an affair with his boss's wife. I was appalled. But as the days went on I knew that my people were not all like that, and I had, indeed come to, a fine parish full of understanding and loving people."
Just as the priest finished his talk, the politician arrived full of apologies at being late. He immediately began to make the presentation and give his talk.
"I'll never forget the first day our parish priest arrived in this parish," said the politician. "In fact, I had the honor of being the first one to go to him in confession."
Moral: DON'T EVER BE LATE

Lu'au anyone
by shotgun inone of many ways to experience a slice of island culture, the lu'au (loo-ow) is a hawaiian tradition: a feast to celebrate accomplishments, honor important people and commemorate great events.
in old hawai'i it was a time to pay homage to ancestral gods with song, dance and offerings of food, a grand celebration that sometimes lasted for days.. .
lu'au description taken from hawaii.com.

Witnesses to abuse
A Superior Court ruling in late June allows elders to protect confessions of sexual abuse made to them by Jehovah's Witnesses. They won't have to report admissions of abuse to state authorities. That has dangerous implications for victims, who say their complaints have been routinely ignored by elders. In this case, a "confession" was made before a panel of Wilton elders, not in the privacy of a one-to-one meeting. The finding in Hillsborough County Superior Court that elders serve as "ordained ministers" protected from revealing confidences might be upheld by law, but it hurts victims past and future.
The suit links to an increasing number of lawsuits from church members. The Wilton victims' mother told church elders about abuse from their father/stepfather, since jailed. She was told to keep quiet, pray more and strive to be a better wife. Her daughters, who filed the suit, are now grown and plan to appeal to the state Supreme Court.
Similar reports abound of elders covering up incidents, effectively allowing suspected molesters to continue their abuse for years. In Keene in 1987, members were threatened with excommunication and eternal damnation if they pursued a complaint about a 10-year-long abuse situation. Alleged molesters are also allowed to go door to door, in the company of a second church member, once elders deem them rehabilitated.
Looking to Catholic tragedies, one might have expected the court to protect the children. But this ruling will encourage elders to keep hushing up victims and shielding offenders.
One hopes the Supreme Court finds a better resolution. The lower court's decision will intimidate other victims. The message is clear: Silence is now golden.

well its a personal thing now isnt it. if you can promise yourself it was only once and never again....... and then live to try and make up for it and know that you love her........ and prehaps talk to a therapist or someone you can trust to keep it in confidence. then its a personal decision, but if you cant live with yourself your gonna do what you think you gotta to make things right. i belive its possible for a person to cheat once and then never again........ but if its a repeated cheating whether with the same person or not.............. then i dont think they will be. it depends on the shock factor if your shocked and appalled then prehaps you learned your lession. its all personal opinion tho how does a person feel. i feel family is the most important but if it eats at a person inside i can see them laying it all out on the table and trying to get forgiveness. if you can handel it yourself do it but if you cant then you gotta do what you gotta do................. maybe put it off tho depending on any children or whatever.
