  Reasons why I wouldn't get a KM while I was still a dub??

  i never got my km.not when i was a unbaptized publisher ,not after i got baptized.i always wondered why.the rest of my family got theirs but not me.someone would usually hand me one durring the service meeting but i never got one from my bookstudy conductor.. could it be the i rarely went to the book study?

  ?could it be that i never went in service??

  i counted a few hours every month but i never met with the group.. .

  well i have been to some congs where they didnt have enough kms.......... but that only takes once to fix by increaseing their order........ i belive they get those according to the publishers in the cong...... and they get extras.

  its weird that you would have joined the TMS and not gotten assigned talks.....

  damn i had to do mine and probably had to do yours to lol............... GO TRIBE

  i would like someone to discuss some issues i have.

  i understand all are welcome here, so i am sure some elders or former elders could help me.

  i was a pioneer for 7 years, before that i was a regular auxiliarry pioneer for 3 years, i have been a witness for 17 years.

  i cant see this being a real situation.

  those fools (elders) want as many pioneers as they can get because it makes their congregation look better in the circuit. not to mention the fact that you cause their literature orders to be bigger and thus more placements in the field.

  i dont see them ever forceing you to step aside as a pioneer no matter what........ unless you had a hand in your daughters dfing or supported her decision or covered it up. even then that would be a jc event.

  to be treated thus i would demand an answer as to why they did what they did............ and then speak to the co........... then to the do.................. then write the society. i would demand a reason for all of this, and like the woman in the bible who kept after the judge untill he heard her case just to shut her up.......... i would keep on untill it was settled.

  Fact: they cant withold literature from anyone................ even apostates

  Fact: they cant refuse to accept your time if your a baptised witness without any service restrictions in place from the BOE

  Fact: if your assigned to a bookstudy.......... it dosent matter......... you can still choose to go to the hall for your meetings

  Fact: your a sucker for cleaning up their tolits for 2 years

  Fact: only one person can stop you from serving god............. and thats you......... these fools cant stop a thing and they never could

  ask yourself............... if that religion treats me like this........... when im HONESTLY and SINCERELY doing my best to serve god.................... then shouldnt i go and find another one?

  i would leave it in a heart beat.......... they will tell you that there is nothing else out there............ but trust me ......... there is

  start going to churches around you.......... find one that serves god the way you do and start attending their meetings.

  or if your still brainwashed by that evil organization.............. move to another cong and then get that body of elders to find out what you did................ or move out of state and pretend to be newly interested people who studied before but never got baptised........... pretend you have never been to a KH and just studied with an older lady or something for 3 or 4 years. start studying and then get baptised as a new witness.............. and live like that................... blindly serving an organization that thinks little enough of you to let you fall ........... nah push you through the cracks. if you go far enough away you could likely get away with this............. untill armageddon................ lol........... but wait.......... hasnt that been postponed ....... yet again?

  Shower or bath?

  would you rather take a shower, or a bath?

  i prefere showers with water hot as i can stand and i don't mean in scrub up, rinse, out....linger uneder the water is so relaxing...what about you..?.

  shower at night to get the sweat and dirt of the day off.......... and a shower in the morning to force me to wake up.

  showers can be shared but for long and drawn out i would share the bath. jetted tub.......... unfortunately my wife wants the water just shy of scalding and i prefer nice and warm............. i let her take her shower first so she uses all the HOT HOT water and i take up the rest........ works out perfect for us lol

  she said it was from her sisters.

  well i jump up and put in the dvd thinking it was from her physical sisters (they are all hotties).

  i posted this at the end of worldlygirl's question, but i think it got bared into so many posts...

  hi there, i am pretty much in the same situation here as the worldly girl(minus the children).

  my boyfriend is an ex jw his ex wife cheated on him they divorced.

  some good advice................ best is to run like hell i think but you probably cant do that without trying can you.

  tell him you wanted to get a better idea what his former religion was like so you could relate to him better......... and then show him what you found...... if he still belives that jws have the "truth" then you are not gonna fare well.

  prediction............. you stick with him, marry him, even kids................

  he goes back to the cult..... then he is gonna be looked down upon because he married a worldly person who wants nothing to do with the "truth". so there will be NOTHING he can do to overcome that stigma....... he will in most cases not be used as a minesterial servant or elder........ tho occasionally they will take someone in his situation. not as an elder tho.

  now you gotta get used to him working and then going to those dreadfull 5 meetings a week, and field circus at least 10 hours a month......... plus all the studying and reading of publications........ then you gotta add into it the assemblys and conventions...... all this is time taken away from you and possible children.

  then if somehow he is appointed a MS there is that much more time taken away from you in dealing with his assignments at the meetings or when he is called to go with elders to do some sort of sheparding work or whatever

  any kids he will want to raise in this so called "truth" and he wont want them to associate with anyone not a jw. wont want them playing any sports or celebrateing any holidays.....

  so you ask yourself................ is it worth it?

  or.......... can i pretend and go with him...................... experienceing all the horrors ive just went over....... except not beliveing the bullcrap?

  so do what you gotta do........... try and show him the real facts about his religion and then make up your mind.

  Jury Duty

  i experienced jury duty today, for the first time.

  i have never actually been called before, as a witness or as a former witness.

  it was so boring, and so routine.

  i got picked once in miami.................. was for a dude who was so obviously a homeless person. charge was tresspassing and some sort of damage to a vacant property.

  he was quilty.............. you could tell. thing is.......... who cares, if you have a property thats empty and this man needed a place out of the rain to sleep................ why not. i was curious what they were gonna consider as damage tho.

  my grandfather was a cop.............. dirty one at that. got other fam that spent time in the big house..... both justified and unjustified.

  lawyer asked me.............. since i have people on both sides what do i think about the situation.

  my response was........ well the ones i have are pretty much where they deserve to be. do the crime do the time

  i got excused......................... at the end of the freaking day. why the hell dont they say CUT and kick y ou out then. woulda been damn nice to go home early...... instead i had to wait and catch that HELL traffic

  red is definately the color that catches my eye. then i gotta go brunette all the way. tho there are a few special blondes that will make me stop and look. but thats usually their personality showing through not the damn color of their hair.......... cause i can see the most strikeing redhead.............. with no personality and she can lose all apeal.

  ladies its all about personality.......... looks help but if you dont have it between the ears............ then nothing else matters

  Growing a Beard.

  so, why is it that we (xy chromosomes) feel obligated to grow beards once we leave the org?

  i've had a little 'chin' beard for about the last 8 years, but every year in november i try to grow the whole thing out... but inevitably i fail miserably.

  maybe my facial follicles are still jws.

  have to go with the fact that some people look good with a beard and some dont.

  had a guy i worked with who happened to have the nastiest beard i have ever seen........ looked like someone glued pubic hair all over his face................ so we convinced him to shave cause he HAD to look better without that nasty beard...............

  then he shaved.................... we told him he should grow it back............. cause a perfectly normal beard was doing a wonderful thing covering up that face..................... scarey lol
