Dubs and marijuana
by gumby inyears ago, drugs were classified as "pharmakia"(greek for druggery).. the watchwer did a good job in convincing others that since the pagans used drugs in their spiritistic practices......then drugs were bad......marijuana included......... they invited demons.
recently i heard comments from dubs that medical use of marijuana would be permissable since it wouldn't be breaking the law.. the question is......why the change in classification if this is indeed true?.

Dizardsdreams (or should I call you "dipshit-dreams"?)
Frankly, I am not at all amused by your posting; in fact, it ticks me off to see you wasting bandwith space - not to mention our time - with your inane tripe. I don't believe a word you say. You are either making a lame attempt at fooling around, or else you are totally insane. If you are insane, then I recommend immediate admission into the closest psychiatric facility. On the other hand, if you are making some dumb-assed attempt to yank our chains, I would ask you to kindly cease and desist. Also, I wonder what your native language is; it most assuredly cannot be English. If this is the case, then I do esteem that you should compose your posts in your own language. If you were to write in a language other than English; believe me, would would understand it as much, or even more, than your piss-poor English. Si le francais est bel et bien votre langue maternelle, alors je vous demanderais de bien vouloir ecrire en francais. Comme ca, on vous comprendrait mieux que si vous ecrviez en anglais.
In you brief posting, you make about thirty or more errors. Here's a list which is by no means exhaustive. You write "none human" for "non-human" (By the way, your vision of the *non-human* creature staring at you from the back of a car is a scene taken directly out of a movie I saw years ago. It was called "Flatliners." Your "vision" is not at all original; it's from a movie. So, either you cannot tell the difference between a movie and reality, or else you are plagiarizing - you are stealing someone else's ideas. In any case, it makes all of what you say to be garbage). You write: "I slapped what I saw in a photo." Don't you mean: "I *snapped* what I saw in a photo"? And by the way, I find it a strange coincidence indeed that you just so happened to be in possession of a camera at that crucial moment, and that you had the presence of mind to "snap" a photo. Also, your camera must be quite a special one to be able to take pictures through the glare of a windscreen's glass.
You write "carnt" for "can't"; "minuites" for "minutes"; "sprong" for "sprang"; "causeing" for "causing" "matress" for "mattress"; "meat" for "meet" (you do that twice, you moron); "arch angle" for "archangel"; "exectly" for "exactly"; "concious" for "conscious"; "nackered" for "nacked" ?; "mat" for "matte"; "where" for "were"; "fingd" for "find"; "madalion" for "medallion"; and "rode" for "rude."
You write: [ I typed in black helicopters.] It should be:[ I typed in "black helicopters."] Also, you should have put "What the hell is going on now" in quotes. Whenever you quote someone's words or thoughts - even your own words or thoughts - while narrating a story, you have to use quotation marks.
I don't know what your problem is - that is to say, what problem you have in addition to your other problem of not being able to write English worth a good tinker's damn - but I once again ask you to avail yourself of professional psychiatric care or stop making such inept and childish attempts to be humorous. You are just wasting people's time in a disgraceful manner.

Why is the religious right in bed with Israel?
by Simon init always seems strange to me that the religious right in america and elsewhere is so 'in bed' with israel.. if you look at the history and beliefs, surely christianity has more in common with muslims who believe in christ (as a prophet) then in judaism which was the very religion that christ was rejecting and was killed by!.
surely for christians, the jews were "the bad guys" having rejected the messiah and forfeiting their position as gods chosen people?.
so why the support?

Simon:
The issue that you bring up has always seemed quite paradoxical to me also. One thing that must be taken into account is that there is a quite an overlap between the "neo-cons" (the neo-conservatives) and the so-called "theo-cons" (the theological conservatives). Of course, this overlap is not total, but for the most part these evangelical, born-again Christian assholes (I believe in England, people woulds say "those bl**** bible-thumping c***s") are for, the most part, politically conservative. As I said, not all are; and there are political conservatives who are by no means evangelical Christians. Just the same, there is a certain correlation between the two groups. Regarding the fundamentalist/evangelical ignoramuses, many subscribe to a bizarre, apocalyptic idea. They think that before the so-called called "rapture" can occur, certain evemts must occur and play themselves out. These events include the gathering in Israel of the world's jewish population. And then,at some God-ordained time, all these Jews will be given the grand opportunity and honor of converting to Christianity, an event to be followed by the GREAT SHIT STORM. This said event vaguely corresponds, I suppose, to the Witnesses' notion of Armageddon, as f***** up paranoid fantasies go.I think that, for the most part, most evangelical Christians have nothing but contempt for Jews, and most likely the reverse is also true. I feel that, in the minds of these Chrisitan imposters and morons, they view the state of Israel is being some sort of thing to be tolerated in that it is necessary somehow for "God's plan" to be carried out. Israel is the requisite world's repository of world Jewry which will absolutely expected to convert to Christianity just before the end of the world. Born again Christians have absolutely no respect or sense of tolerance for Judaism in of itself, and their lack of respect and tolerance extends to all other religions. They are ignorant, insufferable and loathsome in their dogmatic intolerance. Their paranoid fantasy regarding the state of Israel is absurd to the point of insanity, but as Nietzsche said humanity has inherited both the wisdom and the insanity of a thousand generations.

The word "enquete" is, in fact a French word. It can be translated into English as "inquiry"; "inquest" (our English word is a modified form of the French); "inverstigation"; or "survey." The English language has directly borrowed quite a few French words. This is an example of German doing the same. C'est mon grand plaisir de vous fournir avec cet eclaircissement. Au revoir.

Dear Sunnygal:
As I said, I was born in New Britain. Actually, my family moved to West Hartford before I started kindergarten. My J-dub years began in about 1975. I faded around 1977, so I was not in the Borg that long. Sorry to disappoint you, but I never did attend a single meeting at the New Britain Kingdom Hall. While studying, and after baptism, I was briefly associated with the "Boulevard" congregation in West Hartford. It was on a road called "the Boulevard." In the summer of 2001, while on a brief visit to my family in the United States, I passed by the Boulevard kingdom hall in Weat Hartford. I noticed a "for sale" sign in front. I never did find out if they moved or had merged with another West Hartford cong. Did you ever meet anybody from this cong.? Did you know anybody in Glastonbury? Does the name Joaquim (Jack) Fraga ring a bell. How about his wife, Nancy Fraga? Anyway, I'm sorry that I did not make myself more clear in my initial posting. Come to think of it, I know someone who may have attended the New Britain congregation. He was a black guy named Justin Thompson. He also went by the name Christy Thompson. I imagine that he must be about 55 years old now. Did you ever hear of him?

I was born in New Britain. All my grandparents lived there. I went to the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Ct. Now, I live thousands of miles away on the other side of the globe. But my roots are in the Machine Capitol of the World. I had a lot of relatives who worked at New Britain Machine and at the place where they used to make typewriters.

The Rock has an army already.
by Patrick ininfectious diseases are illnesses caused by the attack of tribesmen in nature.
these tribesmen are tiny living creatures, so small they can be seen only with high-powered microscopes.
these tribesmen invade the tissues of our giant bodies, where they grow, multiply, and interfere with the normal functions of the flesh.

Patrick,
Dude, you are dire need of a b*** j**. You know, from the Latin "blowhicius" (which means "oral") and "job-licky-helious" meaning "love." Say, Patrick, I bet you must be a Ph.D. candidate, right? It's enough to drive you f****** insane. Remember Don Quixote, a Spaniard who read a little too much for his own good. By the way, did you know that the Spanish word for madness - "locura" - closely resembles the word for reading, which is "lectura"? Better your nose out of those books, son, or pretty soon you'll be riding around on a horse tilting at windmills.

Luna,
You write that you saw "things" running behing you. Could you be more specific, please? What "things" did you see? Animals? People? You mention a reflection. Were you looking in a mirror at the time? Could you give more detail about the house? Was it old? Did it have a history of such phenomena? Were you warned/informed about the situation when you first moved in? Did anyone else have strange experiences in this house? Did you call a so-called parapsychological investigator (a ghost hunter)? Did you try to have some member of the clergy (priest or rabbi) come over? Your story sounds interesting? If you have some time, could you please give more details? And where was this house located, in which place?

God and Man -- The Paradox....The Choice
by logansrun inhere's the deal: if you are an atheist you still must come to grips with the ultimate question, that is, why is there something rather than nothing?
even a universe with nothing more than a tiny electron floating about would require a reason as to why it exists.
our universe is one in which there are, almost literally, but not quite, an infinite amount of electrons (and protons, neutrons, etc.

Damn it! "Mindchild" is "Skipper"; and "Skipper" is "MIndchild." What happended is that I got so caught up in reading your posting that I confused your real name, "Skipper," with your nickname. Also it's lunchtime here in East Asia, so I'm sitting here munching on starfruit and guava and getting a fructose sugar rush that is obviously affecting my thinking!!!
