you ever have one of those things that happen to you that just leaves you speechless.
well the other day one of my best friends (someone i have known for years) told me that they might have cancer.
they have a tumor in their leg that just changed size as well as a small lump in their arm.

many different responses here......I'm nearing the end of seeing my non dub sister battle with liver cancer, it's been a long long two and a half year road, the ups and downs are heartbreaking not to mention the emotional turmoil with our dub family as you could imagine........... this week she went on morphine for the pain......any advice? just be there my friend, just be there. my thoughts are with you

afternoon thought here................in the time i was in the truff.........(i forget the scripture), there was the popular saying, it was usually my loud mouth brother (elder!!
) that used to be heard saying it and it was .............."yes everyone will have a witness and then the end will come"........everyone meaning the whole wide world...........question is this still a popular saying amonst the dubs, bearing in mind that it's a complete impossibility for everybody in the world to have a "witness" by a jw.. jgull.

A very high % of homes and apartment blocks have the security buzzer at the end of the drive, or at the front door of the apartment block, intended of course as a security measure, this is the general mentality here and very well accepted of course...........measure that against the UK where, JW's are rarely hindered with this situation and can always get to a front door. Does anyone know the general feeling of Dubs in this country and their door knocking activities, I've never seen dubs on the streets here, all I've seen is a pathetic attempt to stand at the local train station holding a WT, making no attempt to witness to anyone................any comments welcome ?

hallo everyone out there.. .
little old me from scandinavia wants to say "hallo" to you all.. i ve been lurking for some time now, but couldent find the courage to write.. i m trying to fade away quiet and elegant but the dubs are after me like a group of blood hounds.. i feel so very very miserable about it all.
at this moment the most "loving and zealous" couple in my cong.

i get so tired of my family telling me to 'come back to the meetings" or "do you want to go to the meeting on sunday?".
i should not complain i know.
i do not have the guts to just say to them: "i am never going back.".
Geeeez, dont talk to me about family members, overall it's sad to watch them continually being duped and coming out with the new light expression.......their inability to think for themselves is the Watchtowers way, I truley believe that some of my family are so socially intwined in the "trooooof" that, that's what prevents them from leaving

(dont ask it's sooooooooo complicated), i've been able to view the site a few times, but any bullet points from anyone would be great regarding the status of things in the last few months, i can then do a search....................soooooo many newbies, that makes me feel good inside, (know what i mean), accolades abound for you all who continue to fight for the real truth, for anyone who followed my brief attempt to educate my jw family, it went very pear shaped, but hey ho, my battle continues with all your help past and present of course.
