  my boyfriend and i are gettin pretty serious.

  before we met he was never in a committed relationship and believed marriage was just a piece of paper that helped during tax season.

  then he meets me and suddenly i catch him online looking at rings.

  IMO, a 32 y.o. guy who wants you to move in/marry him in one month either has some serious problems/instability, or control issues. I would be way careful about this. No matter how much you've talked, you are still in the getting-to-know-you phase. You don't really know what skeletons are in his closet, (or psychological issues,) except for what he's allowed you to see. Trust me on that one.
  And you are wise to not want to rush, even if your emotions are all caught up in this. You are at the beginning of the roller-coaster that is getting out of the WTS. It will not be easy, and you will be a different person at the end of it all. You may want something totally different in two or three years. It would be a shame if you closed down your options right now before you go through all of that. Keep talkin' though! It will help you sort it out. Trust your gut. :)

  i was adopted into a jw family in southern california.

  my birth mother gave me up after 6 months (the terms mom & dad refer to my adoptive/real parents).

  she gave me up due to the fact that she already had a three year old boy, and back in the late sixties it was not as socially acceptable to be a single mother.

  hello again from sunny north carolina!!!.

  our state lotto started today, and i won 15 dollars, and only bought 1 $1 card.

  so whoop whoop for gambling.. i was in miami florida last week for the photoshop world conference, but i also got to tour the everglades, where i took some beautiful pictures.

  Fantastic music site I just discovered! FANTASTIC!

  just type in a song that is typical of your tastes and the site will create a 'station' that continually plays music you should like.

  fantastic to have in the background if you are surfing, even better if your pc is the heart of your music system.. it does not play requests, that isn't what it's about, although your original selection will end up in the playlist.

  by the way, did i say i think this is fantastic!.

  not sure if she has actually sent that letter to the wts yet, but so far there has not been a response.

  i wonder if they will respond at all, after all it's easy to say it got lost in the mail or something, much harder to make such excuses over the phone.

  American Cancer Society - INTERNATIONAL Relay for Life

  notice that there is an internat'l relay for life (scroll down) that is held in more than 20 countries around the world.

  relay for life is a fun-filled overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for research and programs of your american cancer society.

  during the event, teams of people gather at schools, fairgrounds, or parks and take turns walking or running laps.

  Thanks for the reminder Frannie. Last year I volunteered chair massages and foot massages for the Relay for Life fundraisers. I hadn't realized it was coming up already. I think I'll contact the same team and see if I can do it again.
