I am so glad that Bill could be with her through out the trial. I am happy that this man will be sentenced, but I am not in agreement that he should be put away forever. Of course I do not know the whole story. Surely we have moved past the judmental attitude of the org, and realize now that people make mistakes, and can change...haven't we?

Hope this helps you and any others wondering why we're so enthused in knowing DATELINE is going to expose the WTS. We know they will do it in a professional "just the facts ma'am" manner so that no one can say "It's just a pack of lies".
I am going to shamelessly promote personal action [once again] in light of this court victory and the NH complaint and suggest that as many as possible
make copies of the British Elder letter, highlight the paragraph which reveals that the Branch does allow admitted pedophiles to serve in positions of authority and distribute it
to as many members of your present/former congregations as you can. It is on WT letterhead, certified true by a notary, and will certainly have an impact on all right-hearted ones.
My copies (which are being printed up this AM to be ready at 11) have the silentlambs wesite address and the 800# (which only works within the U.S.) as a tag line on the second page. No ad message re:silentlambs just the URL and the tel. number. When Dateline:NBD airs, the ones who receive this letter will know that the dangerous policy exists and the reporting is true.
