waiting,
I am computer ILliterate, however, I DO have scans of the British Elder letter as an attachment to e-mail and think I could manage to forward the attachment to as many as would like it. THIS scan will work on U.S. size paper, as some other scans appearing on the internet are oversized. (Thank you, Maximus!)
It is two pages long and I took it to Kinko's to have it copied on both sides of a single sheet of paper. Because the scanned letter leaves a wide right hand margin I used that "dead space" on the back side of the flyer to add, in bold, centered, in about 24 pt size font:
"For Further Information see
www.silentlambs.com
Or call 1-800-WTABUSE"
so that it runs as a vertical border on page 2.
When rolling up the flyer, my partner in crime & I decided it was best to roll it so that the Watch Tower logo and the solicitor's certification seal showed outermost to grab the recipient's attention.
In my opinion it is very important that the 'friends' understand that this is REAL correspondence by their organization, so the scan, rather than just a typewritten copy of the letter, is necessary.
Unfortunately, it rained heavily here yesterday, so distribution was delayed. Instead we rolled and rubber-banded and are working on widening our list of publishers in the area who need to see this info.
I notice your e-mail is open, waiting. If you would like me to forward the scan, please let me know here (or should we open another thread?).
BTW, 250 two-sided copies, cost less than $25.00 US to print up including sales tax.
