    bboy,

A few posts back your friend told someone that she was trying to work out a test with me. Now, you say I am being dropped. How rude! Why have suddenly changed your mind regarding my research proposal, by the way?

I would like see in detail the design of the test you are going to conduct.

Tell you what, I will participate in your test and saffron will do naeblis'.

Just outline your parameters, and like I told naeblis assign a meaningless title to it, you can just call it target A if you want, and ill email you something in like a day or so (yunno, while i hire a private eye to sneak into your house and take photos of the target)
Me and saffron are only human after all, even if we do leap over tall buildings and levitate on a regular basis ;)

    bboy,

OK, let's start over with the questions.

What kind of information do you want about my location? What information, if any, do you want about the target? Do you want me to stare at the target for a certain length of time before you draw the target?

Now, it you e mail me a description, I certainly could lie and say you were wrong. That is not good science. I would rather send my description to one or more people before you begin this to insure that I am honest. After your reply, I may have other questions or thoughts on this.

    bboy,

Dark matter is not mystical at all. It is just matter that is not illuminated. Stars are just illuminated because gravity has started nuclear reactions within them. If there is just a bunch of hydrogen atoms and heavier elements floating around that have not formed into stars, then that is dark matter. I'm not sure what is so mystical about that. Of course we could be totally wrong, but inferring dark matter is a simpler explanation then reinventing physics. If it turns out we have to, then we will. I think the fact that we were able to send spacecraft to the planets and beyond with great accuracy is a testament to how much we really do know about physics.

I don't think there is anything wrong with critical thinking. Do you believe our thinking should be uncritical? You seem to have a grasp of science, but I've noticed that you gravitate toward the fringes - almost to pseudoscience. Why do you put so much confidence in theories that have little to no support yet? Could that be why you have become dissappointed with science - your expectations are to high? Maybe you are not satisfied that current scientific thought does not conform to your favorite fringe theories? Science is not science fiction.

REM Im not dissapointed in science, my point is that at any moment our entire understanding of the universe can change. One day God could suddenly show up and squash us apostates all under his giant thumb and apologize for all the fossils he planted to cause us to doubt him. The day after you might look out your window and see a pig flying by using an as yet undiscovered force. I happen to like einteins theory and hope it is not proved wrong.

What kind of information do you want about my location? What information, if any, do you want about the target? Do you want me to stare at the target for a certain length of time before you draw the target?

No info about the target other than a name and that it is an image. I dont need to know your country or house number or anything. Send your pic to other people beforehand thats fair. Thanks! And remember this is supposed to be fun so let's not get uptight and start mailing each other poop packages from smellypoop.com

    Remote Viewing works.
    I was trained in it.

Like you, I was once skeptical.

    Ralph,

Do you want to be part of this experiment as well?

    bboy,

After I have e mailed a detailed description of the target to 5 people, I will let you know. Any time after that you can post your description or a drawing to this thread.

The discussions you are having are pretty typical concerning
whether it works or not... I've had the same with many people and
have proved to them that it works.

Just for the record. There are many scientists that have studied
Remote Viewing. The CIA originally funded the study from
Stanford Research Institute to see if Psychic functioning was real
and if it was a threat to national security. And it was considered
a threat and probably still is.

You can read more on the history of RV:
Remote Viewers: The Secret History of America's Psychic Spies by Jim Schnabel.
Also just out this month is, Captain of my Ship, Master of my Soul
The book by Fred Atwater who was responsible for creating the
Army's Remote Viewing Unit, it includes a CD with RV sessions, official documents, scientific studies.
Other books include: Mind Trek, Ultimate Time Machine, Remote Viewing
    Secrets by Joe McMoneagle.

Ted Koppel on Nightline reported on it 1995. Discovery Channel and
A & E have had specials on it. Art Bell and Jeff Rense generally
    have radio talking about it.

For those of you who mentioned that police don't really use
psychics, yeah right... check out PSISQUAD where many members
are police officers. Bevy Jaegers has helped muliple law enfocement
    agencies. It's all documented.

As for you RV target, it wasn't a good one. It was a drawing, a conception. A location would have been better.
The person who said car deserves the 50.00. It was a direct hit.
But then, I get the feeling you really didn't want to pay.

For the nonbelivers and skeptics, well if you "really" wanted to know,
you could find out for yourself and get trained. That would cost
time and money. It would change your view of reality.

The last 3 years there has been an RV convention. For more
    info you can visit: www.irva.org
Multiple scientist have research papers posted.
    Links to trainers are posted.

If you have any questions you can email me. If you are in
the Portland Oregon area, I'd be glad to show you some sessions.
