Some on our BOE are a tough bunch. Because this elder admitted there was some manipulation of reproductive ------ by dancer on several occasions, he might have to be DF and his wife has grounds for divorce. The judicial committee hasn't even met with him yet and they're already speculating on DF & divorce...so much for compassion. No concern for him, his wife, or children.

Sparkplug - I felt bad for the brother. I wanted to tell him to shut the hell up, it isn't our business to know such things. But what do you do? This is his belief system, if he felt the need to cleanse & purge in such a way, well best of luck to him. Hopefully he gets out. We all work to get over the crap we put ourselves thru by confession when we were JW's. Poor guy, that so sucks.

I cannot believe admitting something like that to a bunch of old men. Each of these elders are going to tell their wives, each of these wives will tell their friends. Within a week the whole congregation will be consumed by the acts of this man.

It is unbelievable what guilt can do.

What is terribly sad about this is that marriages can sometimes recover from porn/stripper addictions and even full blown adultery. JW's teach you to believe you are almost obligated to divorce under such circumstances. I believe a marriage and children are worth the effort and heart it takes to cope with and correct something like this. Couples should at least consider trying to work things out.

Divorce isn't an easy solution either. You don't always get the happy results you think you will.

The brothers who came up with this policy are as guilty as the fiasco over oral and anal sex. I think they're going to be doing some heavy community service once they leave this world.

Sorry to hear this guy is going to ruin his family life because of his confession. He's probably a "normal" guy that's never experienced any fun.
