Ok so much for reading the thread without commenting, now I feel I have to. I'll probably get flamed by the women for this ~ and FYI, I prefer medium rare.
But yeah I know what you mean, I do think some women dress provocatively, expecting to be noticed. Sometimes thought, you happen to get "oogled" when your dressed down, no make up, glasses and you think you're inconspicuous. That's when it's just wrong ~ mainly because you feel you look like crap and you don't want to be noticed.
I've never personally dressed up to look good only to get mad when I got "oogled". I think had I not been "oogled" I'd have been upset or felt maybe I just didn't have it anymore ;-)
For the ladies. Do you think that when you.....

Saw a babelet recently who was wearing a tight red low-cut t-shirt that had in print across her Chest Region the words 'My Eyes Are Up There' with an arrow in the appropriate direction. I can't actually imagine any hetero male within 100m of her not looking at her breasts that day.

This is exactly what I mean. There's "fashion" and then there's "flashing". Of course what I am agreeing to is that they should be expecting to be looked at (not raped, groped or otherwise). I think if a woman dresses that way and acts "surprised" that you are looking at her body then she is a head case and needs help. -

I have to agree.
... oh no, sorry, not that she's a head case needing help. But she's kidding herself if she thinks she can flash the world and think they'll respect her enough not to look. That said, yes it sucks that there are maggots out there who harass any woman, so; more power to the lady who gets harassed no matter what she wears. Your employer should be taking better care of you so that you don't have to put up with that.

Yep, I think that applies to women or men though. If you have the "goodies" out, people are going to look. I mean at least I know I do and I'm into men. Although I have to say the men with extremely short shorts thing repulses me and I have been known to look away, far far away... -

Guys seem to love nurse's uniforms! I'd wear tee shirts under my scrubs; so that when I leaned over to assess a patient, my cleavage wouldn't show. I wore/wear very loose scrubs. I don't like them tight. Men still trip on the uniforms! My husband was/is very fussy about my uniforms! He feels like it's his job to keep them pressed to a military standard! In the Winter, I'd wear long johns or thermal underwear under my scrubs; they thought that was even sexier! Good grief!

I agree with you misanthropic.....................women know SOME men will stare.......its in their nature..........and SOME women dress for the attention....
Nota ness.........I dont think women who dress in a way which causes men to stare are necessarily complaining about it........but maybe your wife is, if you are staring at other women when you are out with her......
