Croquet, in the summer, at my grandparents home in Indiana. With lots of "worldly" kids.

Chasing kangaroos in the local bush, and imagining that you could catch them.
Building cubbies (cubby houses) in the bush.
Playing outside all day, and not coming home til it was getting dark.
Going to the local swimming pool.

Getting your brothers to dig up some worms and then going fishing, catching grasshoppers and dragon flys (sewing needles), taking care of injured birds.
