This is a little different from most of your post, but I swear it's true.

One of my childhood pleasures- Imagining how great it would be if we went to the meeting and the Brother on the stage said: "We have a very important announcement to make; the Society has just announced that they were completely wrong about several key biblical issues, the first is that Armageddon is figurative, the second is that to be a good Christian need not entail going from door to door, and all good Christians just need to love one another to be in God's grace."

I literally fantasized about this happening, and carried much guilt for it.

Well, one of my childhood memories was when my cousin and I found a box of Playboys and Penthouses in an old trashpile that was on a farm near our house.

We also had made an old tobacco barn into our clubhouse. We had fixed it up pretty nice with scraps of carpet and other building leftovers.

We took the mags to the clubhouse and discovered the beauty of the nude female body...

Mrs. Jones... I was joking around (though the experience is true, and one of the great memories of that summer as a kid). Here's a smily face, if that'll help...

    Something else ...

Sitting in class behind a boy I liked very much and inhaling his nice scent

Going to the clay pit, fashioning objects, and letting the hot sun bake them

Eating a meal of hot cornbread and cold buttermilk

Smelling frying bacon and percolating coffee as our morning got under way

Going across the pasture to the neighbors to watch tv
