you see, i don't care about being an hypocrite or not. i cared for that when i was a teen, but idealism is just that - for teens and hollywood. i tell people they look good even if they don't. i tell people it's alright even if they screwed big time. call me hypocrite if you will. some things are better left untold - and no feelings are hurt.

So you decided for those around you, what's right and wrong based on your own personal views? And no feelings get hurt, provided you are never caught up in a lie. Correct?

    No.

Aside from that, one thing we know for sure: men (and women) who cheat on their mate are willing to put their relationship at risk.

i don't believe in paradigms of right and wrong. not talking about everything is also called etiquette. many people would view this as a quality.

Lieing by omission to one you profess to love is not about "etiquette" whatsoever, IMO. It's a quality alright, not positive however.

well, it is... i know, not in your books. but your books aren't universal.. you'd better get used to that. i'd very much appreciate if you'd stop judging people - even more if you don't know the details.

I never said my books were universal, I am used to that, and I am not judging you, simply stating my opinion. I don't know you from adam, why are you letting a debate bother you so much? I never said you were a bad person or anything like that, I totally disagree with your reasoning. I think you are justifying your behavior without regard for your spouse, according to what you have written, however, that's the great thing about not being a dub isn't it? Being able to disagree without being punished for it?

Not judging you does not mean I should say, I agree with all opinions , I have my own opinions and this is a forum, we are free to voice our opinions, I never said you were not entitled to yours, but I also won't say oh, I agree, when I don't.

wellll alot being said on relationships tday!

i was married for 23 years, and never cheated, on the other hand my x cheated several times, i didnt find out till the end and i divorced her, she said she never meant it, blah, blah, trust is an intergral part of any relationship, without that all you have is a roomate!

it shows disrespect and a lack of maturity, both emotionally and mentally, and all it does id cause pain, get a divorce and do it, if you have to.

at least be honest and treat your partner with the respect and appreciation everybody deserves!

    big d

    Hi SFA

I do not think Sweetstuff is being judgemental, she is as i understand, saying that all relationships are based on trust. I can look at another person and say wow they look great, and hope the person is flattered, but no more.

If we do not trust, the relationship any relationship is weakened.

    Sweetstuff knows this.

    regards llbh
