Like water, discussion boards find their own level. Given the wide variety of backgrounds, nationalities and personalities on this board, and also given that unlike discussion boards dealing with "crafts" such as you moderate, this Board has more than its fair share of people with serious emotional issues, it seems to function pretty well.

One thing is certain, no one person, or any amount of wishful thinking will change it. One must learn to either take it for what it is, or not log on.

P.S. Changeling, A serious, no kidding, question. At your age, late 40's? and with all you have been through in life, are you really through with maturing further? Hope not. No one here means you any ill. Sometimes we need to re-adjust ourselves. The ego should never solidify into concrete no matter how old we get.
