Of course. I think you take yourself too seriously. Comments that are directed to you in various posts/counter posts seem to be exaggerated in your mind into some kind of personal thing. It seems to distract you from the subject at hand and into your own vulnerable self image. You scream insecurity. Sorry, if this was too blunt for you but it is said in good will and honest feelings. You are an anonymous entity, that makes personal connections a lot more blunt, but there you are.

Hey gregor: Seriously: I'm sick and tired of the "you take things too personaly" drivel.
I feel it's an excuse insensitive types use to justify their lack of good judgement.
And yeah, people on this forum are unkown entities, but they are real people with real feelings. When we forget that we lose a bit of our humanity.

I think this board or forum or nuthouse, or whatever we choose to call it these days is everything we put into it ! One reason yesterday I started 2 comical threads was to lighten the mood up lately so we could share a bit of humor dealing with me being a retarded fake shrink, and any weird vasectomy experiences ! You won't hear that stuff discussed too often at JW meetings ! So I think it all comes down to whatever each person can do to bring a positive atmosphere to the board , nothing more, nothing less . We get out of this board what we each put into it ! So , I think even the skirmishes can teach us something , not that I enjoy them , but we can't control what people say, but we can either decide to respond or not , and we can control our own responses to people . But I am getting to know people on the board now by telephone so I understand that I can talk with some people in a different manner than other people . We all have different personalities which require adjustment ! That being said, we still have to show respect to others, if we want them to listen to us and not shut us down. So it's a two way street. End of Dr. Flippers rant. That will be $100.00 please and invite me to your next barbeque ! Peace out, Mr. Flipper

Between changelings "Kiss My Ass!' and *summer*s "I hate you...you pompous ass!" we have obviously plumbed the depths of their intellect (which turns out not to be no more than ankle deep). Changleling recently started a thread asking if we thought she was a Bimbo and wanted to be reassured she was not ( an attractive but intellectually shallow woman). Nobody had called her a Bimbo. But she needed to be given some attention, even if she had to come right out and ask for it. She had lots of positive reinforcement, including mine. Now she is telling one and all to kiss her ass. Yes, this is the internet and you never know what kind of nutjobs you are talking too. By the way, I don't hide behind an alias name or location or avatar. Changeling, you are a disappointment, whoever you are. Now your little toady, *summer*, can jump in and screech some more. LOL!How quickly the touchy feely types bare their fangs!
