She's almost 25 ... They made a sober decision to have sober sex. So just because a person was a raised a JW they're all of a sudden vulnerable? Are you totally or just half stupid? I put that half stupid in there just because I didn't want to make a huge assumption or generalisation as SOME people on this thread seem to be doing. So I guess by your logic, a JW girl who gets married at say 19 years old is being taken advantage of. Is that right? They just had sex. He didn't marry her or tattoo his name on her forehead or something. You ever think that she's the one who took advantage of him? That could just as easily be said, but of course a man could never be a victim, right?

Who said that kids don't screw up? That's what life is about. Living and learning from the decisions that you make. What made Mark Twain's dad smarter? The fact that he was older? or the fact that he screwed up earlier in his life and learned from those mistakes? But this isn't about someone screwing up. It's about two young adults having safe and sober sex. What's your problem with that? Funny how you skip over the whole point I made about the over 50 crowd, but that wouldn't fit your adjenda, would it Hillbilly?

You use such big language and justifications, so I am sure you get my
sarcasm.
I believe you want to be there for her, so we want you to know what she is going
through. SHE FEELS VIOLATED AND TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF. She assumes
that you and your weed are a big part of that. She feels naive about the ways of
the world, like an inexperienced teenager. She may conclude that men only want
sex outside of "the truth" so she should go back to it. She may repent and tell
the elders everything, including how the guy doesn't feel sorry for taking advantage
of her because he treated her like she wasn't naive or vulnerable (but she says he
treated her like a "thing").
I almost understand what you are saying fully. I was young (actual teenager) when
a young harlot seduced me. The only differences are that alcohol WAS involved and
she WAS experienced when I was not. I tried to hide that from her, instead of admitting
my inexperience, but my technique probably revealed that. Since I didn't want to
admit afterward that I was virginal just a few moments ago, I got drunker instead of
talking. See- almost the same. I was there before.

I pass no judgment on what happened. I say it is a normal thing for them to have sex.
I just wanted Mincan to know that she was vulnerable. He seems to be aware of that,
but not to the extent that she was VERY vulnerable. She had to gain experience
some way somehow. I just want him to be sure to treat her right afterward. I bet he does.

Getting married at 19, the person has had time to think about their actions before doing it.
But they could be vulnerable. They could be escaping an abusive or a JW household. They
could be escaping poverty, or just like the car the hunk is driving or whatever. I pass no
judgment on people for doing this stuff. But the man who marries the 19 year old person
should be prepared to help her through this, just as Mincan stood up to help this 25 year old
witness girl.
Even though I sarcastically suggested she took advantage of him, I suppose it is possible.
Afterward, she will most likely feel the other way around regardless of the intent at the time.

Actually the problem is I think too much, which is a symptom of a mind constantly in search of stimulation (because of a faulty dopamine system in the middle and forebrain), also known as ADHD. Oh sorry I forgot you don't believe in psychobabble or the scientific method it follows. The dextroamphetamine (a stimulant) I take slows my brain down to about your speed (which is about 5 times slower than normal for me) so that I have enough time to let you fellow humans know whats going on in there.
Kid..my insurance carrier has paid for enough ADHD treatments to last you another 30 years. I wont go into details... but i will assure you the kids those treaments went into are not a goofy and confused as you are. They had a dad.
People with your condition can lead moral, productive lifes... try it .
