whatever, if abortion where undeninably murder it would be banned.
The bottom line is -- they're not babies, and they're not unborn children. Just as black isn't white no matter how often you say it.

Giving a fetus more rights than a woman, who is the host and has the fetus there only by her permission is insane. It's like giving a malignant tumor more right than the host it is in. Basically, the woman has the last say, it;s her bodies, not the fetuses.

Somehow Skimmer, I don't quite agree with you that slavery and abortions are the same type of arguement.

    Tyydyy,

if you allow me, I'd rather respond to your question with a question:

When do you believe the fetus becomes a baby, a human life?

when the parasite no longer needs the host directly, to survive :)

That actually was my question Mega. But I don't mind answering. If it were me pregnant I would say the same thing Shecky said. But I think that the real definition belongs to the concience of the woman.

I guess you could say I don't believe it's right to use abortion as a form of birth control instead of being responsible people.

However I do feel there is a place for abortion.

If raped,if health or life in danger and in a few other circumstances mostly regarding teenagers. There may be others.
I don't like to say I'm pro life or pro choice because each situation should stand on it's own.I hate labels!

Even when I was a hard core witness I had already made my mind up that if raped I would imediatly go to a hospital and ask for the morning after pill.

My sister works as a nurse in the pediatric ward and some extremely tiny preemies can survive. (some as young as 24 weeks) So would 24 weeks serve your definition as a cut-off point of when the fetus becomes life roughly? I'm not trying to be crass or debative. Just curious where you stand. Technically the baby can live without the host, but not without massive medical assitance.

Again it would come down to what ever your concience told you. Do you think anyone knows for sure when that point is in each individual case? I don't.

I support a woman's right to chose. I feel it is a terrible choice that
many women are confronted with. I also believe the Bible is silent
on the subject. Let me add, however, that I feel very strongly that
abortion should only be permitted in the very early stages of pregnancy.

    Just my opinion.

personally, i don't think men should have a say in the matter at all.
