BA- I'll not reinvent the wheel. I doubt you'll read anything that debunks your philosophy and dogma anyway. Enjoy!
PS- It's not necessarily evolution vs. religion, it's evolution vs. mathematics and probability, stupid.

I'm willing to let it go.

Where's VInny. We need a little BWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA to round out this thread.
BA and JG, do you think there is a chance that what you believe is wrong?
The Hammer strikes:
How ridiculous to make evolution the enemy of God. What could be more elegant, more simple, more brilliant, more economical, more creative, indeed more divine than a planet with millions of life forms, distinct and yet interactive, all ultimately derived from accumulated variations in a single double-stranded molecule, pliable and fecund enough to give us mollusks and mice, Newton and Einstein? Even if it did give us the Kansas State Board of Education, too.

Unlike some here,I am not dogmatic about evolution. If it is how God made us, great. If not, no sweat. I'll find out in the world to come!
The main problem I have is the materialist philosphy underpinning it and espoused by so many of its supporters.
Atheists need Evolution as much as Theists need a God.

Do you?

This one was quite good!

Do you?
Catch-22, anyone?
BA- Once I thought I was wrong, but I was mistaken.
PS- IRL, no experimentum crucis

I wasn't asking you, but of course I think there is.
Atheists need Evolution as much as Theists need a God.
This would be a correct statement if evolutionary theory preceded atheism. The origins of atheism however date back to the 5th century BCE in a time where a static view on the natural world was mainstream. The forced link between atheism and evolution is a fairly recent subject mainly in reformed countries.
