  I do have to admit, I agree with Reniaa and the WT teaching on the Jesus/Michael issue. In my mind, it makes perfect sense.

  When you think about it, have you ever seen pictures of both Jesus and Michael at the same time? The ones I have seen show either Jesus or Michael, separately, but not together. In pictures where both are "susposedly" together, you will notice that one is usually turning his head or someone is stepping in front of one of them during the picture. At best, it will be one clear face and the back or side of someone else's head.

  In some very old paintings susposedly showing the two together, you will notice that there is usually some sort of vertical line between them ... sometimes a pillar, a doorway, etc. In this way, two paintings can be put together and it gives the illusion that they are both in the room at the same time, when in effect, it is just one person to start with.

  And this type of illusion can certainly be done since I recall seeing reruns of an old TV show (Patty Duke) in which she played both herself and her cousin at the same time. Again, you would normally only see one talking and the back of the head of the other. Several movies also come to mind in which the same person plays more than one role.

  So this stongly suggests to me that the WT has it right on the Jesus/Michael debate.

  You might not of noticed but Jesus is also called son of god like the angels are.

  You should read you own scriptures.

  He has become better than the angels and what makes him better? only that he has inherited a better name not that he is in anyway different by being God and become suggests he was once wasn't better than them.

  Hebrews 1:3 pretty much states what Jesus is - The exact representation of God's Being.

  The question that Paul (?) askes in Heb 1:5 makes it clear that Jesus was NEVER an angel, for if he was, Michael would be the answer and notice that it is NOT.

  To be honest, Hebrews alone is enough to get rid of the notion that Jesus was at ANY point an Angel, not sure how it can be viewed otherwise.

  Heb 1:4 4 having become as much superior to angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs.

  It does not say he has become better because he now has inherited a better name. It simply says that he was made better to the extent that his name is more excellent than their. Yes, angels are called sons of God, as I pointed out previously. But they can not do the things that God can do. John shows that Jesus does EVERYTHING the Father does, exactly as he does it. He only became lower than angels when he emptied himself.

  So I read my own verses before I sstated them and understand them quite well. You will need to try in your own little mind to understand God's word here as you have misapplied so many verses in this thread.

  Might i suggest a new hobby for you? Perhaps you would do better, I don't know, herding swine?

  malachi 3:1 is a specific prophecy Jesus mentions as refering to him and john the baptist who prepares the way for him.

  Using your way of thinking John the baptist could be Michael.

  So people saying Jesus can't be an angel because they are a different race type argument or he just isn't an angel is just being tricky. When they know this scripture refers to Jesus being the 'Angel of the covenant' confirmed by himself later. And that angels are the same race as God and Jesus which is that they are all spirit creatures.
