This site still exist because people are leaving the WTS all the time. The discussions, new and archived help them realise they are not alone. Others have asked the same questions and employed the same strategies, get out. It is a form of therapy, NOT a religion.

Anyone who thinks it's ok for the watchtower to fuck up people's lives and then the victims should just remain quiet about it is an idiot.

Why do many of us speak?

A quote. "Evil prevails while good men remain silent".

The biggest falsehood proclaimed by the WTS is that JEHOVAH and ORGANIZATION are the SAME ENTITY. That to leave one is to LEAVE THE OTHER. Which means that people IN the Organization believe they are one with God Himself and above all the rest of humanity. A very lofty self righteous position is it not. To LEAVE the Almighty Watchtower (echo echo echo) therefore means the immediate label of Under Satan and evil, and apostate, and bitter and vengeful and.....guilty as charged. No matter what a persons reason for leaving was...you MUST have done something EVIL and SINFUL to have been either kicked out or slithered away. And thats EXACTLY the way the WTS wants you to think of ex members. So...I can see clearly it is working with you.

Why would a raped person want to help prevent others from being raped? Why would a molested child want vengeance against his molestor? Why are there support groups for those people?

Why are people disfellowshipped for joining the YMCA but the Watchtower Society can join the UNITED NATIONS for 10 years with absolutely no sanctions? And without TELLING anybody?

Why can the Watchtower Society and its robots the Governing Body, write article after article of hurtful, nasty comments about EVERY OTHER RELIGION ON THE PLANET and yet yell foul when someone DARES to point on their hypocrisy and propagandising??

Think about the above when you question our need to reach out and help others get out of this masochistic cult.

RE: pointing out the faults and erros and mistakes of the WT.

What is good for the goose, is good for the gander.

Rather biblical no? that whole do unto others as you will have them do unto you?

The WT points out the mistakes and crap that other religions and organization do, so..right back at you baby !

you will find that many ex-jws cannot move on, and that is quite obviously the motivation behind what they do here. There is VERY little new information posted here anymore, its just the same old bashing - under the guise of "helping" people.

If jws want the help, they can find all the info on here and on other sites. Might as well close this forum to further discussion, as it was proposed last year.

But, they dont because it is kinda like another religion - they still retain the cultish and bad qualities of their former captors. its quite sad, really

ANGEL EYES- Yes- I am happy about having left the mind control cult - Jehovah's Witnesses. I enjoy my freedom away from the cult. They have no hold on me anymore. But I feel compassion and sadness that people , good people, just like yourself are being lied to about what a " generation " is and having to spend your life waiting on a miracle ( false promises ) which will never happen. If you want to worship God, Jehovah, or whatever you call the Almighty- more power and success I wish to you - however the Jehovah's Witnesses are manipulating you and others to keep you under control by use of " fear " and " guilt ".

They use false expectations of fear by telling you that you will become influenced by Satan if you stop attending meetings. That you will become a fornicator, drunkard, drug addict, or an " apostate " if you leave THEIR ORGANIZATION. But Angel Eyes- you will find that many if not most of us who have left are caring, genuinely kind people who show unconditional love to others - no matter WHAT religion they are in. It's just that many of us were in the witnesses many years ( myself 44 years ) and know the ENTIRE background of what has gone on behind the scenes in the WT organization and we WANT you to be informed. The WT society DOES NOT want you to be informed of important information which you need to be made aware of. They keep you trapped underneath " information control" or " information lockdown " . If you don't agree with that then may I ask you a question ? What was the reason the WT society put out a Kingdom Ministry article 2 years ago- I believe the September2007 KM where you folks in the witnesses were counseled NOT TO do ANY outside research on the internet, other non-witness " worldly " publications - and were told that the ONLY publications you needed for research was the WT societies books , magazines, and articles ? Doesn't that strike you as strange ? What is the WT society NOT wanting you to know or be made aware of ?

Also - May I ask you this - Do you think it's POSSIBLE for any of us to ever leave the Jehovah's Witnesses and find happiness and fulfillment ? I'm curious about your take on this. You are a good, decent, respectful poster - and I just want to help you is all. I want to open up your mind and see what you are thinking. Take care, Peace out, Mr. Flipper

thanks bluecanary :) and thanks to everyone who replied,I'm only allowed a few posts i guess because im new so if you dont hear from at times please dont think im ignoring you,im just waiting for this site to allow me to post again:)

Flipper, regarding your question leaving the Jw and find happiness and fulfillment...Hmmm if you mean leave Jehovah then I would profoundly and whole heartedly say no,never...Jehovah is such a loving god how could anyone be happy when they have had him in their life and then turn away from him.But if your asking turning away from brothers and sisters, well I wouldnt say happiness or fulfillment but I can see how at times pressure can become too much, our own brother and sisters can judge and put the pressure on maybe without even knowing, yet if they would just leave things as they are it wouldnt even be a burden,if you see what im saying? So i guess from that standpoint i wouldnt say fulfillment but yes you could be happy.

Does that make sense....maybe i should pm you to explain more??

Scared to answer everyones replies as then my limit of posts will be gone and i'll have to wait ages to chat again :(

    hugs to you all.x
