Its not so much...I think for a lot of us...that we dont believe in GOD any more, but we sure as hell dont believe in the"JEHOVAH" that the JWs created from air, some war god that punishes anybody who doesnt follow this man made organization.

Jehovah does exsist and its sad that because of men upsetting,doing wrong due to imperfections or even meaning too,whatever the case,it so sad that you choose to blame Jah and turn your back on him when it wasnt even him that hurt you...he just gave his son to die for you and still he loves you...wow how anyone can attack such a loving God is way beyond me.
Mouthy has been through alot as well as others yet they dont attack Jah,well not to me they dont,many still love him and know he is the only God and true God.Yet others dont speak abusively about him to true lovers of him..ie me :)

Are you having doubts about your religion? I cannot recommend enough not coming to this site. We are all pissed off and understand the lunacy of this high-control group, and we're not going to tip-toe around the blatant truth.

Angel eyes, whether Jehovah may or may not be the true god is immaterial to the fact that "Jehovah" has been a big warm fuzzy blanket and smokescreen that the leadership of Jehovah's Witnesses have used since they began.
Consider the double speak in how they claim to speak for god, except when they get it wrong.
They are spirit directed and spirit annointed, but not spirit inspired (which is the standard line to explain the myriad of failed predictions that have come through the WT since the 1880's)
The truth is, they have no spirit, they have consistently made dates up, sincere or not, and none of them have come true.
As you have the internet, you are welcome to discover this for yourself. It's a test of our own personal integrity and honesty to examine this, because it is serious. It's that fear that, "maybe they (apostates) are right" that is pretty big to overcome.
Anyone can read the Watchtowers for themselves. Why we "apostates" continue to "advertise advertise advertise" the lies is because JW's are generally indoctrinated and won't look at it unless it is publicized.
Like starting a cold car that has been sitting for months, its hard to jolt our brain back into action when we are taught not to question, and not to listen to anyone but the GB.

I don't confuse Jehovah with The Organisation. They are not the same thing and the org is not directed by Jehovah.
Try and find ONE prophecy that is unique to WT that has come true. I asked my mother that question and she said Christ's return in 1914, then looked at me like I was the Devil incarnate when I pointed out that prior to 1914 they taught Christ's return was in 1874.
Why don't I just go away and leave the JWs alone??? Easy. I am completely surrounded by them. I do not have a single close family member who is not a baptised, believing, JW. I am unbaptised and they still all talk to me.
I know what it is like to be brought up in a high control group and I work to prevent it happening to others. I do not restrict my efforts to JWs. I don't see them as being better or worse than other cults. The differences between cults are mostly self proclaimed differences. The methodology is the same. For example, when I am talking to Mormons, I will talk about my experiences as a JW (without naming them) and I can see in their eyes that I am ringing bells for them. They soon want to move on, but I keep calling them back until they can't take it any more

Hi, the WT raised me up to have all kinds of opinions about other religions, based on JW accounts of all the evil that supposedly happened in them. They also reported to me all the misdeeds and sins committed by what they called "so called christians". Now, how could they do this if they were happy being JW? Was it necessary for the WT to report the issues that plagued other religions?
What's the difference between a JW reporting on facts and anecdotes about the WT when they had years of being dredged in such things regarding other religions?
Happy or unhappy to be out, we may still have some happy or unhappy consequences as a result of leaving-often involving the people we love the most. That is what support groups are for-to vent.
Why do alcoholics discuss their alcohol issues? Most have a physical link still to drinking-the disease. My physical link is my heart-my mom is in the WT org. still and spouts it at me. So, it is like someone on the wagon who has to live with an alcholic drinking in front of them, offering them a shot and well, you know where I am going.
