How many people do you know who discovered a wrong Biblical teaching by the WTS, went to New York and personally confronted a Governing Body member about it, was disfellowshipped for that "heresy" and later discovered that doctrine had changed to exactly what she had told the GB member it should have been in the first place? Shelby did that. Can any of you claim you did that? (I hope I got my facts right on that one, Shel.)

That is amazing. (Not surprising in the least that the doctrine changed, but... you know what I mean.)

Greetings to you, Dear AGuest! Baba loves ya.

Shelby pm'd me that the Lord told her that what was troubling me greatly would be resolved.

I had not told Shelby or anyone else on this board about my troubles.

It happened just as she told me it would.

I shake my head when I read the sh*t folks have put on this thread about Shelby's writing style and her faith. Geez people grow the f*** up! If you don't like Shelby's topics/writing style/faith when don't click on the thread! Is it that hard? Are ya'll really so not in control of your own bodily functions? Sh*t, maybe ya'll just just take your butts back to the damn hall.

    *Whew* That felt good

Alrighty then, I read your last response to my response. I don't know you at all and I don't care to know you at all. Apparently, your views are completely different from what I assumed. So I will do you a favor and not open your threads anymore, as you indicated would be a good idea for anyone that gets a bit irate at what you post (my words, not yours- as I don't feel like going back to see what your exact words were).

Don't bother responding for my sake. I won't open it. I will say "Get help. Seriously, get help." Good day to you.

uh, mrs. Jones, Shelby's "writing style" is a manifestation of serious mental illness, combined with a nasty habit of verbally condemning people (invoking god to do so) who disagree with her. If, as heaven pointed out, the voices ever change to something darker, Shelby won't exactly have a good therapeutic habit of ignoring them, now will she? This is not wild speculation btw. For one thing, it happens. For another, this is at least the second time that it's come out that stress in her life seems to trigger a prophetic diatribe on JWN.

The grown up thing to do is not to coddle.

People fear what they don't understand. When they are unable to grasp something outside their comfort zone, sometimes they lash out in anger and frustration, and target a person to direct it toward. I think they fear their own insecurities and inadequacies more than anything else. Please, Shelby, don't let others' insults and inuendos prevent you from posting here. Your input is appreciated by so many more than not.

Actually this sort of thing is fairly well understood. Shelby, btw, knows this and knows the score.

6o9, you should know by now that I don't coddle anyone on this board. But it serves no purpose to come this thread to only provoke if someone thinks the author of this thread is somehow mentally deranged. To come on this thread and gloat and provoke is not showing anything close to being concerned about the author's mental welfare...not even close, it's mean, heartless, and unbelieveable cold.

    Coddle my ass.
